It's a great product, one of the best paint on whites out there imo. Very easy to use, cures nicely etc. 2 mins in a Brisa lamp.

It seems to me that IBD quite often underestimate cure time in their instructions for their gel range - maybe its the same for their Gelac?. Also I have a few pieces from their soak off gel polish range and I can tell you their base product seriously under performs imo! I havent tried...

I think you may be applying your second coat too thin, imo it does shrink back a bit. So with the second coat you can afford to go a little heavier and defo cap the free edge.:)
