Help please..Looking for a mobile polish case

Hi I am looking for a mobile polish case which can hold most of my polishes. Creative used to do one, which appeared to be grey plastic with foam inside, with cut outs for about 36 polishes to be stored. I am looking for something similar to this so that I may store my polishes and...

    PopIts My first pics

I am pleased... . Mu usual sets would be just slightly better, due to the cuticle area. Yet they would take me twice as long. I usually take around one to one and a half hours to complete a full set, then there is the polishing and gems/art. These took one hour to complete... including...

    PopIts My first pics

the first pic is a poppit, the full set are also popits and the first nail on the second pic again is a popit...... lol I found them quite easy to use, I made a bit of a mess with too much product and then too little product, but as long as I kept my thumb on long enough the results were...

OH no what do I do???

I think I would do the professional thing..... Honour the booking! You did nothing wrong in requesting that she change her site. However, it would be a shame to allow it to create very bad feeling, which would undoubtedly happen were you to cancel due to her, etc; I would go along, not stick...

    Tarot readers

I definately believe in it.... However, there are a lot of fakes out there who will take advantage of people who are at a low time in their life. I have had my cards done several times over the years, and tend to know a fake when I see one. Having had them done so many times I can now...

    Psycho Client!

I have had clients ask to sit in, in the past... I have usually given them the number of our Welsh Creative ambassador or advised them where to look for information on alternative courses. I have, rather than let them sit in on other clients, talked them through what I do on them, and told...

Would it be worth doing some Creative training even though I am doing NVQ at college?

Hi You have done the right thing by not just going for the first course you could get privately.. Your college NVQ is a valuable qualification. However, not all colleges, in much the same way as not all companies, offer good training. So.... it would not be a waste to continue with further...

    Confused,disappointed,and A Little Hacked Off

It's a shame if this type of thing happens. When I first started in nail enhancements years ago, I can remember one client telling me she thought my nails were 'crap', and that another salon had told her they were the worst they had ever seen. I hadn't long completed my initial training...

Calgel going brown after 1 day?!?!

Hi I know this is a long shot, but she hasn't been applying home tan has she? or applying moisturisers which contain some tanning solution? I have had discolouration from some clients in the past, and when we have looked further into what products the client may be using this is what the...

What level would you say you are with Nails?

I voted 'other'. I believe there is always room for improvement, and I am always looking to find ways to make a great set of nails even better. My clients are always more than happy with the nails I do. However, I suppose I would like to make every set as perfect as a competition set...

Who do you use for a model?

When I first started, I used to practice on my daughter or my ex mother in law. I also practised on myself and my nail trainer at home. I now practice new things on myself first, then straight onto clients, as when I have something new in, they are all clamouring for it! Sue x
