    Which internet protection?

A friend of mine is in the computer business and I asked him the exact same question. His response was 'Go with AVG Free, it will be fine unless you go looking for the sites out there with industrial strength porn or want to download all the latest cinema releases the day they come out' I...

    Facials

Thanks for mentioning us xx To the OP, I would recommend that you have a look at a few companies and get some samples in. This way you can make an informed choice.

    ***The 'Official' The Apprentice Thread***

That is just great. Beauty therapists study hard at college, do additional courses, keep training up to date, have an extensive knowledge, professional insurance etc and the apprentice is going to set up a beauty salon. I hope any insurance companies and product suppliers pointed out the...

Anyone ex Dermalogica... What do you use now?

I don't think you can criticise Eve Taylor products for having fragrance. It is an aromatherapy range, its going to smell. It is kind of like criticising us (Moor Spa) for a mask that is a bit muddy, Environ for being a bit heavy with the vitamin A, and Universal Contour Wrap for having too...

Personal sorry, but what age did you start to get grey hair?

Grey hairs, I wish. Being a guy is really tough. Your hair just disappears. I was really hoping for some grey to add a bit of distinction, instead I am destined to just go bald.

Rimmel gets a lashing for ‘misleading’ advert

Call me cynical but these ads get banned is probably getting these companies more column inches and marketing than the ads alone would have done.

    Making your own products

I would say there is a big difference between making products for yourself and making products for use on clients (and to sell to clients). If you are making them for yourself then it can be a bit of fun and will give you a better idea of ingredients, how cosmetics work and you will have...

    Skincare Range Advise!

I am sorry to hear of the difficulties you have had with Pier Auge. However, I guess it does explain why the inbox for enquiries is a little fuller than normal at Moor Spa. I would recommend getting some samples from different ranges and trying them.

    Olympia Beauty Show

So who is coming to see us? We will even have a little meeting area for the first time in years. I am hoping that lots of geeks will drop by to say hello.

    Eve Taylor or MONU???

Am I allowed to be disappointed that you haven't requested some samples from us? But anyway, I would recommend that you ask some of you trusted clients what they think of the different ranges and see if you can try doing a facial or two with the samples sent. This way you can get a good feel...

    Which product range for facials?

Ho hum, can't please everyone all of the time. Packaging is a tough one, some love it some don't and it is a lot better than it used to be.

    How Would you spend £600?

How about a Moor Spa mobile facial starter pack at £155 or the same pack with a Monaco Beauty Box for £225. Just an idea :-)

Thinking about getting a card machine. Advise please

Get the card machine. Personally I never really carry any cash on me (or I spend the cash too quickly :-)). It annoys me when I have to pay cash or cheque somewhere, however it annoys me more if there is a surcharge for using a card. You will find that most card companies charge a lot less...

    VAT rises to 20%

I can see all the printers in the country dancing with happiness now that we need to change our pricelists again. It is going to cost us all a bit more but it could have been worse. But on the bright side there may be bigger discounts at the shows :-)

    Jasmine oil recommendations

I am guessing the jasmine oils used for waxing are mixed with a carrier oil. I just checked with one of my suppliers on the price of 1kg jasmine oil (absolute) - I have bought cars for less!!

FISH PEDICURE - Live on This Morning

I wonder how much a fish can eat? Are the pedicures at the begining of the day better (when the fish are hungrier)? Also, aren't you all supposed to be working not watching This Morning :-)

    Mobile phone recommendations

I can get my personal emails delivered to my iphone but not my work ones. This is because of the of the Moor Spa exchange server. I am pretty sure the blackberry wouldn't have work either. Moor Spa's priority is to bring out cool new products rather than IT upgrades.
