    Odyssey VIP powders

ONS has a big variety in the VIP collection. I love all of them, and you can mix them to the preference of your client. For clients with a light pink natural nail bed, I mix Too Natural & Duvet Pink. You can also extend the nail bed with it since it is still opaque, only softer. The Cover Pink...

    What Gel do you use?

I use Evoke Gel from Odyssey Nail Systems. My clients wear it for 5 to 6 weeks before they come for a new overlay. No lifting , no yellowing, absolutely stunning. However, correct technique, skill, and application is mandatory. It is important to know and understand your product and have a...

    Do you pinch?

In the salon I pinch tips and sculpture, depending on the client's nail bed. If a client has huge nails I pinch the product for a sleeker/slimline look. It makes the fingers appear slender and softer on the eyes. Thin out tips before application of acrylic. Never over pinch, it is uncomfortable...

Bio Scupture Gel - Clients nails gone black!

Have used it before on my nails. It grabbed the pigment of my hair color after I went to the hairdresser. I think it is a very porous gel. Have never had that problem with a acrylic based gel. Good luck!

    Seperating

Were just wondering if anyone uses a Finish gel over their acrylic. I find that it chips off the acrylic. Am I the only one this happens to? I do apply it nice and thin, and cure it in the uv lamp.

    Seperating

I have a client who wear acrylic overlay's and her middlefinger nail seperated from the acrylic at the free edge. She is not happy about it. She puts her fingers in her mouth constantly. Can that be the problem. Or could it be that her natural nails might be too thin? It is only the one nail.
