Hi,
Could anybody give me a "rough" idea of how much it would cost to set up a new salon in the UK, East Anglia region.
I am talking about rent, stock, licences etc.
Just a rough idea would be great.
Thanks
Hi
For anybody who is running a salon or who works in a salon........ how eco friendly is your salon? I mean safe for the environment products, maybe electricity supplies, water supplies, even down to the furniture.
Do you think with the increasing amount of eco information provided to us...
Hi
My lamp and also bulb is about a year old. Would that need replacing yet? The Gel is a brand new pot I opened but I didnt stir it. Would this make a difference?
I just dont understand it. I did just what I always do. I thought it might be something to do with my brush application but...
Hi
I recently put a set of Gel's on myself. When I first did my training I could put a fantastic set on and they last for weeks.
The set Ive just put on I am so ashamed of and have lost confidence in myself now.
After about 2 or 3 hours I could "easily" lift the entire piece of Gel straight...
Oh dear please help!
I am trained in Gel nail extentions amongst other things. Yesterday I put on a set of nails on myself, which usually look great. I was able to completely lift off the entire Gel application in one piece, leaving just the glued on tip. This happened with nearly all of my...
Hi
My partner is moving to UK me, has been a hairdresser for nearly 20 years and wishes to rent a chair in a city based salon.
We have been advised that the rental for the chair will cost between £150 to £250 per week! However, can anybody advise how much you could realistically earn per...
:)Hi
To cut a long story short. I am English, been living in Turkey for nearly 3 years but have now met a fabulous hairdresser here and we both want to move back to the UK in a year to start a business.
Apart from the obvious red tape we will have to cross because he is Turkish please could...

Hi
Has anybody tried this product? The adverts are very tempting and also the reviews I have read on it are so positive. It is supposed to minimise large pores and fill out wrinkles etc.
Hi
I have just read this thread and a thought came into my head. When I go back home to Turkey I will be mostly doing UV Gel. The heat! At the moment its around 47 degrees where i live. How will this affect the Gel and also how will it affect my product application, should I adapt it a bit...
Hi
This is a really bizarre question and lots of you will probably laugh but I am going to ask it anyhow. As a newbie to this game I cannot understand how my teacher has said that once a set of nails has been put on (apart from French White Tips) you NEVER have to apply another set of nails...
Hi
I am luuuuurving applying UV Gel's, Fibreglass etc. but......... I cannot believe i am saying this. As a newbie, I am finding it really difficult to........... oh I am so embarrassed...........apply nail varnish! I simply cannot believe what a meal I make of it. Today I have been...
Hi
Yes I have ordered from Galaxy. I am a newbie and haven't tried all of the items I sent for, but at the moment they do seem okay. But I live abroad and comparing their prices to some of the companies in the states, I am have to change my supplier.
Hi, wow thank you for the information. I'll have a good look today at your website. I really do want to find one supplier that I can rely on rather than bouncing around to find a cheap deal here and there.
I am completely obsessed with nails now. And this forum is so informative and helpful...
Hi
Thanks thats great.
I read a fab tutorial on Gel earlier and my teacher told me to hold my Gel brush flat all the time and use it like a spatculor! This has been causing the bead to squash a little too much. I read that if you place the bead in zone 2, then tip the brush upright then you...
