COVID-19 returning to work checklist, client signing cards

Hi All, Just a thought, with the extra steps we will need to put in place (I am a mobile therapist), will people be looking to type up a form to go with their consultation for for the client to sign to say they haven't had symptoms or been around anyone who has? Government guidelines say 4th...

    Mobile bags

Hi, Can you show me your mobile bags that you use to take into people's houses - I need one for a pedicure bowl, waxing (& all equipment to go with waxing) etc. I have a 3 tiered Roo beauty bag for my varnishes but I need something, ideally, with a base on the bag to put all of my other things...

    Best non soak gel varnish?

Well - thank you for slightly digressing on my original thread & question - I will now spend time doing my own research on various brands and which one I think will suit me the most!

    Best non soak gel varnish?

Thank you for your response. I used an Avon gel polish - my Mum gave it to me as it wasn't the right colour and they last really well with Seche top coat. Remove with normal varnish remover, so no light box or wrapping to soak so was wondering if there was any make out there that is a "gel"...

Bag to carry mobile equipment - pedicure bowl/towels/tools etc?

Thank you - I was hoping that there was a bag that looks nice and big enough for my pedicure bowl, towels and products? I have a cube sized big bag for all varnished by Roo Beauty which is perfect to hold all colours. I may need to measure all dimensions for it to be wide and long enough to put...

    Best non soak gel varnish?

Hi All, I have used Vinylux before but have found the removal on feet to be an absolute nightmare. Which would you say is the best non soak off / non curing gel varnish - if there is such a thing? I am happy to invest into a new system but I would prefer, being mobile as well a non curing /...

Bag to carry mobile equipment - pedicure bowl/towels/tools etc?

Hi All, So I have the Roo beauty bag with the inserts for all of my varnish to go over my shoulder, add on top of this a handbag, pedicure bowl, towels, products and I am making 2, if not 3 trips back to the car... I have a wire basket which I keep my barbicide, tools, varnish remover in a...

Brown to blonde ombré - need colour correction help asap!

Yes she is mobile but I go to her house. She does have a good variety of colours too. I don't know if it is from the build up of blonde and dark brown or something different but leaning towards the Blue food colouring and shampoo to tone?

I have read up to use a Blue food colouring with a White shampoo to help tone it done, so that is what I will do for now until she can see me again - do you know much about this DIY toner?

Brown to blonde ombré - need colour correction help asap!

Would putting an ash blonde all over colour help - she has recommended buying an ashy violet shade - but this means a quick stop at the local Sainsbury's as I am limited on time - what should I do / buy?

Brown to blonde ombré - need colour correction help asap!

Thank you for your reply and comments - No, when she was washing the colour off, she said she would use a toner, but made one herself using Goldwell as she didn't have any... Then washed it off and said that she didn't think I would like it... I actually did use a Silver shampoo this morning =...

Brown to blonde ombré - need colour correction help asap!

Hi, I was a dark Brown into a blonde ombre and I asked my hair dresser to make the blonde a more platinum blonde with a light grey mixed in throughout. I wanted the Brown in my hair a lighter shade and higher up. Now, I have white blonde and shades of an almost light Blue / Grey at the ends...

Mobile - carry cases / storage for the car?

I was really interested to see what people used - I did look at the option of one of those big hard case trolley's, but, if you are only doing 1 or 2 treatments, you would still need to bring the whole lot along. Then you have your pedicure bowl, couch etc - so much to have to pack and think...

Mobile - carry cases / storage for the car?

Hi All, Been at mobile 3 months now and seem to feel the things I have bought to help store and transport my bits and pieces is not the best to help. I bought this (below) from Amazon - thermal bag for the wax pot, all waxing accessories, eye treatments - tinting etc - I can leave the wax pot...

Skin is terrible on one side?

Thank you all for your comments - it actually got worse and started to look like a cigarette burn! I went to a pharmacy just so I could get some advise and used "Epederm" which seemed to work after a couple of days along with Witch Hazel - It's not usually the side I use for phones, that thought...

Skin is terrible on one side?

Thank you both for your replies - I cannot spend a massive amount of money just right now as I have just gone from a home salon to mobile and have had to purchase quite a bit of new equipment and had a car accident so trying to get back to work on proper hours. Anything I can get in the meantime...
