I've been waxing females for about 20 years. But I trained in male waxing with Axiom who is awesome! A female Brazilian/Hollywood takes me between 7-10 minutes tops. I don't know why it takes any longer? It really baffles me. Clients want to be in and out with this kind of wax. Who wouldn't...

I'm also confused......Can I please just clear something up.... Are you guys saying..... If a therapist is using Shellac base coat, Shellac Colour and Shellac Top coat, using the correct cure times BUT using a different lamp to cure. Then it shouldn't be classed as The Real Shellac...

I've heard all the same stories too...many many years ago so that one still must be doing the rounds. I find Clinique too astringent because of the Alcohol levels. Dermalogica all the way

I find nose and ear waxes are popular treatments, especially when the guy is already in for another treatment, it's a good add on and I charge slightly less than a brow wax

When I was mobile I used to blue tac my dappen dishes down to a very small plate that had a lip around the edge, so spills were very unlikely and if it did happen then it was within the dish, I too used an ironing board for less twisting and stress on your back. Hope you get it sorted x

Go see your GP 1st but be prepared to be disappointed when you walk out of there with Ibuprofen prescribed and told to rest (ha!! like we can do that!!) Ibuprofen's ok short term but be very careful they cause havoc with the stomach lining if taken too long. I lost all faith in gp's years...

I see your point Trin and most regulars are considerate of this but I'm getting on average about 3-5 new clients per week, so a sign would be a help to start off with x
