I would definatley charge something even if it does only cover cost of materials, if you do it for free once they will keep expecting it for free, no one should expect it for free when its costing you money

I think a uniform is best, you look more professional in a tunic but you can get very warm in summer so i think aslong as you still wore smart clothes in the summer it would be fine

If I were you I'd get a list of whats in the college kit (or have a nosey at someone elses whos bought one in your class ha) then buy your own most of the stuff you'll probs have. Mine was £200 and all i got was a book,head,pack of combs, pack of round brushes, scissors, thinning scissors...

I started my level 3 not long ago and I dont think its that useful to be honest. I already knew most of what you learn in level 3 but as a few people have said it will be difficult to get a job without a nvq3 so it really is worth it.

Iv only tried a couple of times and I havent saw her since before I tried with it being half term so thats why I asked you's first but I will ask her when I see her next

Im doing acrylics at college now and I bought some clear nail tips to have a play with but whenever I try to blend them it scratches the tip so and when Iv finished you can still see the scratches.
