    Non mint flavoured toothpaste?

Euthymol might be a possibility - I don't think that has mint in off-hand, but it's probably worth checking the ingredients. I don't think it has fluoride either though.

    Waxing courses can you recommend

Yes, Kim Lawless is excellent! Definitely among the best choices in the country for waxing training! If you want to learn male waxing as well, then Andy Rouillard (in Basingstoke), Mat O'Marah (in Wolverhampton) and Jack Dunn (in London) are all excellent choices too.

    My transgender make-up experiences

That's a shame you had such bad experiences! It sounds as though the first client really wanted a female friend they could go shopping with and exchange tips on make-up and whatnot... such a shame that they weren't comfortable sharing this with their wife - although I have heard of a lot of...

A massive thank you to you all!

Thank you :) It's lovely to be back :)

A massive thank you to you all!

Aww, thank you :) It's been an amazing couple of years or so though - and really wonderful to get where I dreamed to be - working in a really good IT job as a woman, and getting my medical transition off the ground. I really don't think I could have done it without you all either!

A massive thank you to you all!

Wow, thank you! I didn't think I looked that good on the video really, so it's lovely to hear you saying I'm looking amazing on there :) Always a lovely confidence boost to hear that :) Hopefully things will get better over time too - when the estrogen has more time to do its work, and I get...

A massive thank you to you all!

I really must come back on here more then - I won't be doing any new websites (like I've said) - with the exception of setting up a trans friendly salons one if I ever get the time - which will be a directory of transgender friendly salons (that is still on my ever-expanding TODO list) - I did a...

A massive thank you to you all!

Aww thank you, Vic :) Just sorry I was so manic before and didn't remember to thank everyone on here until now!

A massive thank you to you all!

I haven't been on here for ages, but really wanted to say thank you to everyone on here for all the help you've given me towards my gender transition - where I am now working in my dream job as a woman - something I would not have thought possible a few years ago! I've met so many lovely people...

Ruth no longer doing websites-recommend anyone else?

Bit of a change of plan, but I am no longer taking on any more websites for the time being. I basically need to focus on maintaining websites for my existing clients; there just hasn't been enough time to work on new sites. Hopefully that will change in the future (I have plans to "reboot" the...

    The cheapest place for images?

NEVER use Google Images - unless you want to be sued by Getty or Corbis Images for several hundred (if not thousands) of pounds! There's an Israeli company called PicScout which trawls the Web looking for websites with images on used without permission, which makes a commission for every image...

    Facebook hacking

You can ban people from posting on Facebook pages that you manage, without blocking them from your personal Facebook account. She'd have cooked her goose by now in my book!

    The Wax Show UK

Special thanks to Andy, Mat and the team for an amazing event! I really enjoyed it, and the talk I did with my colleague Michelle on welcoming transgender clients went down really well. If anyone missed our talk who wanted to see us, I've uploaded it to YouTube here... Welcoming...

Ruth no longer doing websites-recommend anyone else?

Thinking about it though... I really don't mind at all if people recommend other web designers as well - as, at the end of the day, while a lot of people do like what myself (and Carl) offer, it wouldn't meet every single client's requirements... what we do is best suited to people who use Carl...

Ruth no longer doing websites-recommend anyone else?

I guess I'd better set the record straight here lol, so you're probably best getting things from the horse's mouth so to speak :) The situation is that I've recently started a 6-month IT contract, working on the website for a well-known maker of some very sexy cars (that my lovely wife Sonia...

Nail services for transvestite or transgender men?

I think the safest bet would be to say that you welcome both male and female clients, and have one set of prices that apply to both. That way, you aren't discriminating either way. Then you could advertise at Pink Punters and on the websites for the trans community :)

Nail services for transvestite or transgender men?

Very interesting thread - sorry it's taken me a while to find it! I guess one thing I'd mention is that most male-to-female transgender people would really not want to be referred to as "men" - that would be particularly offensive to mtf transsexuals, for example. Many cross-dressers would...

Help - calling all male therapist beauty & hair

Fab, thank you! I know both Mat and Andy well too; they're both lovely guys, and very passionate about the beauty industry.

Help - calling all male therapist beauty & hair

Cool! And if you ever wanted someone to speak on transgender issues, I'd be happy to help with that too, e.g. how to welcome transgender clients, and how to avoid embarrassing mistakes such as addressing a transgender client who is presenting as a woman as "Sir", for example.
