    Creative Wheateze for Pedicure

Thank you so much for responding. Yogacat - I'd be really grateful if you would post me the details of the Wheateeze boots when you find them. We're really short on space in the salon and don't want the cumbersome electric boots around and I just love the mitts. The Wheateeze would make life...

    Creative Wheateze for Pedicure

Summed up very well! As for using towels Gigi, have you any suggestions as to how I can keep my towels warm for the pedicure? I know there are the cabinets that do this but they're a little expensive for me at the moment (just opened up my own beauty room) and I wondered if you have any really...

    Creative Wheateze for Pedicure

Hi all, I use the creative wheateze (not sure on spelling!) mitts for manicure and they are just wonderful. Now, on the label attached the mitt are the instructions on how long to heat them for and on there, there are details relating to Wheateze Bootees. Please can anybody tell me where to...

    Polishing Acrylic Nails

Thanks everyone for your responses. Maybe the extra capping at the free edge is what I need. I'll give a go next time. Many thanks x

    Polishing Acrylic Nails

Hi Clare All my polishes are Creative and are no more than 4 months old. I'm scrubfreshing before applying the base coat and then 2 coats of colour, then finishing with a top coat. I'm so cross cos I really can't see what else I should or shouldn't do!!!!

Nimue - What do you think so far?

Gigi Thanks for your opinion and it was really reassuring to read, because all of the points that you said you enjoyed about Nimue, i.e. the simplicity for both the therapist and the client, the 'not paying for the packaging' on the refils etc, were all points that made Dan and I really want to...

    Polishing Acrylic Nails

Thanks for replying Clare. It starts happening from the same day it's applied, literally. My mum's are also the same. I know I can trust what she's saying that she's not 'interfering' with the polish in any way. Thanks for the suggestion of NSI. Sharon

Nimue - What do you think so far?

Hiya Myself and a friend are opening up a salon very shortly and we are looking at what skin care to provide there. My friend, Dan, is a mega Dermalogica fan and I thought I was the bees knees using Clinique (mmm!!!). Anyway, we were aware of Nimue already and after further investigations...

    Polishing Acrylic Nails

Hi everyone I'm having a real problem with painting acrylic nails - not the applying of polish but how long the polish lasts on my client. My routine is (using all Creative products): scrub nails with scrubfresh, apply one coat of Stickey base, applying two coats of chosen colour, allowing...

Opinions please on renting in hairdressers

Sassy, sorry, forget to ask my other question....! You say that you share the phone with the hair salon you are in. Do you share their name then or do you only share their number, but have a different name for your business? Not setting out negatively or too positively (depending on the way...

Opinions please on renting in hairdressers

That's a good point Karen. As much as I'd like to throw myself in there and trust on word, my cautious side would not let me do it without something in writing. The locks on the doors are a great idea. Sassy and anybody else interested, I'll keep you posted and let you know how it goes...

Opinions please on renting in hairdressers

Sassy and Diya, thank you SO MUCH. Sassy you have answered everything I've asked and it means a lot. Like Diya said, the fact that you are in the same situation is just brill. I really do like the idea of an all-in package but the hair salon, although appointments are booked up 8 weeks into...

Opinions please on renting in hairdressers

Hi everyone As usual I come here for the sound advice that I've come to so greatly rely upon!! Please be warned.........its a long one! Here's my situation. There is a hair salon very close to where I live. I visited her the other day to see if she has ever considered renting to a...

    What are your opinions on....

Thanks everyone for your encouragement. I got the 'shed' idea off another technician on here and I mithered her to death for her advice!!! If you're reading this, you'll know who you are and thanks again!! My garden is not big and "log cabin" sounds far more grand than it really is. I was...

    What are your opinions on....

    What are your opinions on....

Seeing as this is the first place I turn to when wanting advice, I thought I'd come here again for help! I'm desperately trying to come up with a name for my business and have come up with "Creatively Polished". Your honest opinions only - what do you think? Or if you have a better idea...

    Waxing Training

Hiya, I'd love to go to the college with you but I think it's probably too far to travel. Having said that, I will check. If it was an intensive course, maybe over 10 weeks, then it wouldn't be so bad. I will check anyway and see just how far it really is! Cheers
