Anyone else had problems with Ink London ILac?

Hello everyone! I saw this thread and brought it to the attention of Angie Gunter who is the Head of Education for INK. She isn't a member on here but asked me to let you know that if anyone is having any problems whatsover with INK application (whatever INK product you're using), please...

    Show us your Cuccio Veneer!

I removed it for the first time today (I normally use Shellac). It's undoubtedly harder to remove than Shellac, and completely different in the way it removes as well. First, you file the veneer down to a very thin layer using a 180 grit file, then you soak in the Veneer remover (using...

    Show us your Cuccio Veneer!

This is Bean There, Done that!, with Pueen Stamping Plate 65 over the top. Very much more gold and sparkly in the flesh!

    Liquid palisade - UK seller?

Not found a UK seller but found this blog post about how you can use masking fluid to do the same thing: Using Masking Fluid with Nail Polish | My Lucid Bubble If you want to try it they it on EBay, or here's one I found with a fine applicator...

Help - are these water blisters?

If they are a bit itchy and spread, it could be hand foot & mouth disease (not as horrible as it sounds, its a virus, basically)

Just wanted to say I've had amazing shine on iLac, just as good as Shellac imo... so this lack of shine thing may not be your experience.

Client wanting no longer available charity freebie, help!

I'm not saying you are in the wrong, but I can see, from a consumer point of view why these are similar enough that he'd be thinking "surely if you can do a makeover photoshoot for a bride, you can do a makeover photoshoot for me". It doesn't explain of course why he thinks he's entitled to...

Client wanting no longer available charity freebie, help!

Why does he think he can still see the same photoshoot on your website now? Is that true (even if it's for a bride now)? If so, I can see why he might not be too happy - a photoshoot for one IS very similar to a photoshoot for a bride.

How long are you curing for? Is this happening on all fingers or just the thumb? Are you using the Ink Cleanser? Have you tried more than one colour? Have you tried to cure under a different lamp? Are you using xlac or ilac?

    Very short nails

I used to be a terrible biter. I found that all it took to stop me nibbling was having SOMETHING on my nails, as it was enough to make me realise when I'd put them in my mouth (otherwise I'd just do it on autopilot). I'd stop trying to tip or sculpt, particularly as they are not lasting, and...

Here are my toes with I-7 on...please excuse my ugly feet and slightly dodgy toe application... I am not the thinnest of individuals and getting down there to paint them is a bit of a challenge!

    INK nails

Hello, I used just 1 coat of i-1 for the pink, and then did two coats of white on the tips, with 1 coat of top coat over the whole nail to finish. I don't like my French to be too pink/peach, or too opaque. It was a bit tricky to get the pink to be not patchy, in only 1 coat, but I think...

    INK nails

I got one bottle of xLac by mistake in with my order. I tried it on a colour pop cured under LED and it was great - looked lovely. Tried it on my own nails under LED and it didn't seem to cure properly, so I took it all off again. Haven't tried it on my nails since, but if I did, I'd cure...

    INK nails

I didn't mean to imply the lamp doesn't cure at all, it's just really no good on the thumbs, you would definitely need to do them separately, which is a bit crap when they claim it's 5 finger cure. I have also had very minor wrinkling on a couple of other nails on occasion under LED, which I...

    INK nails

Hiya I change my nails every 2 weeks, whether I have iLac on or Shellac. I find the iLac lasts just as well, provided I UV cure and don't use their recommended UV lamp (other UV lamps may cure it just fine). The main differences I've noticed between the two are: 1) iLac is easier to remove...

    INK nails

By the way, meant to say I also really like iLAC, I think it's fab and the soak off is a total dream (even easier than Shellac). The only thing I really DON'T like is their LED lamp - it just doesn't cure properly on my nails and certainly isn't a 5 finger cure like they claim - I cured my...

Megamix nails. Create your own gel polish colours with eyeshadows, nail polish

Does anyone have any tips for not flooding the cuticles when using Megamix? I have really tiny nails and that, combined with the very runny consistency of the Megamix when mixed with polish means I nearly always get flooding in some spots.
