    S Gel - Bio sculpture

you also need to remove sticky layer AND buff surface of gel with a fine grit before applying S-Gel. I have found it to be stronger and long lasting. Did you get the full instructions when you received the gel? It needs to be used slightly differently from the other gel. Don't know why yoru top...

    St Tropez - After Waxing

Why not wait until it is safe to use fake tan and get some Johnson & Johnson 'Holiday Skin' its available at most chemists and supermarkets. I used this on holiday and it's great - a body lotion with a bit of fake tan in it. IMO better than St.Tropez. Absolutlely no streaking and a great...

    Mixing different company's products?

Thanks for your replies. I think I'll give it a try on myself first as I wouldn't want any problems with my client. Anyone know a supplier of good glitter (dust type I think would be best)? And I need it for Thursday! Thanks

    Mixing different company's products?

Hello I have a bride who wants me to put glitter on her white tips. She currently has Bio Sculpture overlays with french finish. She has a pot of NSI Tech nail colour (opal shimmer) that her sister uses and she wants me to mix a bit in to my clear gel so that she can 'shimmer' for her big day...

Need help with an elderly manicure

Hi Warm mitts might be a good idea if you have them. I am now opting for the waterless manicure since discovering these wonderful mitts. Cover the hands in some rich moisture cream, pop them into a clear bag and put into warmed mitts for about 10 minutes. Bliss! Hope you have fun.

    Is this just a gimmick?

Hi Clare I was thinking 'tipex' when I saw this stuff! What I also thought was that maybe it would give good coverage whilst having a thin application and being easier to handle than a lacquer. I guess we won't know unless someone has tried and tested it.

    buffers/files and hygeine

I do not use the same file/buffer/nail brush on other clients - they all have a set for thier own which I bag and name. I spray with disinfectant before and after each service so that my clients can see that I am conscious about hygeine. Metal implements are disinfected with barbicide which I...
