    NSI Gels

Haha! It's like the story of the three little bears and the porridge. One was too hot, one was too cold, and one was JUST right. I think you'll find that the Body Builder is pretty easy to work with. Thicker, but it will still self-level. Yes, you can use clear or pink as your base. I'll...

    NSI Gels

Body Builder is just slightly thicker than Builder - that's the difference. People who work in warmer areas tend to like the Body Builders. For the white NSI gels, our Body Builder Whites are much thicker than the Brush On French White (which paints on like polish almost), but they are thinner...

Glaze and Go for natural nail rockstar?

Yes, just to confirm. Glaze 'n Go is not formulated for use over natural nails. It will work over acrylic or gels - but not gel polish. Gel polish tends to be too flexible and the Glaze 'n Go can crack.

    NSI Finish clear?

If Glaze 'n Go was cracking, then you were probably applying it too thin. When you apply Glaze 'n Go, don't press down too hard on the brush (it shouldn't bend). Just use the brush to gently glide the product over the enhancement. We have a video on our web site called More Glaze 'n Go...

    Glaze n Go cure time

Thanks Mollie. I was going to suggest that. As someone mentioned earlier, Glaze 'n Go tack-free, so you should never use Cleanse over it. If it is cured completely, it's a smooth, dry finish. Also, it should cure in 90 seconds no problem. Could it be time to change your bulbs?

Shatter polish over the likes of Polish Pro

I don't know anything about crackle polish, so I can't say. You could try it over a tip or color pop, though, and see if it will work. I agree that removing with Non-Acetone should be fine. Please let us know how it turned out. Thanks!

    Polish Pro NSI

This is what corporate NSI says about curing Polish Pro on our web site: Be sure you are using a 36-Watt full hand Versa Cure UV Bonding Lamp (or similar quality full hand lamp). Also, make sure your bulbs are not due to be changed. Bulbs should be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage.

If you have the older NSI Ultra Pro lamp, that should work fine as well.

    NSI - CLEAR elation tips

Are you referring to Illusion? If so, you are correct that there is no traditional builder gel. With soak-off gels, the thicker they are, the harder they are to soak-off (defeating the purpose/appeal of a soak-off). You can build a little with the Base Gel, though. Would certainly add enough...

Peeling with NSI Polish Pro (Shellac)

If you are using Polish Pro, here are some possible explanations and solutions: (Curing issues) Be sure you are using a 36-Watt full hand Versa Cure UV Bonding Lamp (or similar quality full hand lamp). Also, make sure your bulbs are not due to be changed. Bulbs should be replaced every 3-6...

    Nails are lifting :(

Can I ask what your frustrations are with Balance UV Gels?

    Nails are lifting :(

The fact that you are getting lifting at the cuticle and the sidewalls makes me think that you may be applying the product too close to the skin. You need to leave a tiny margin to prevent lifting.

Gel Nails, Peeling, Cracking and coming off.....Help!!

As a general rule, transparent Balance gels take 90 seconds. White or opaque gels take 2 minutes. If you want to use your timer on your lamp, 150 second cure would be fine.

    Best UV top coat

Thermoshield is an ultra-shiney top coat that drys your nail polish; however it is removed with Acetone, so is not solvent-resistant.

    NSI Balance Builder gel help

The Sculptor Gels will not self-level. If you are looking for a white gel that does, you should look into the Body Builder Bright White, it is not as thick and you don't need to "work" it with your brush as much as the Sculptor Gels.
