Hi all, I've had acrylic on my nails, and they are sooo week and thin :( They just tear at the free edge :( What can I do to keep them healthy and strong, especaily when I keep the acrylic off.. I had to put an overlay on, if not I wouldn't have any nails right now :( Thanks...

I did and overlay on my nails with Creative's clear... (trying to let mine grow out,) I have 4 nails that the acrylic is cracking, only at the free edge :shock: Why is it doing this? I'm wondering if I didn't make them to thin :? How do I go about fixing this? Do I just file it...

MY friend works in a salon, she uses peroxide, she says it hasn't hurt them at all and puts solar oil on afterwards.... I just buff mine out with a very fine buffer or a clean buffer (from TT) and use solar oil... Jamie :)

Every since I saw the reps nails and the ease of it... I was like I have to try this! it seems like it doesn't cause to much damage to the nat nail... She also did silk and fiberglass, god! when i was in school u cut all the pieces even the white for the tips, boy how things have changed..LOL...

My teacher at school( taking a refresher coarse) got me an interview at a salon......The lady was great, the place was really nice, was willing to still help out with anything I needed, help get my timing better and answer any question I had, it was a great oppturnity, but..... She went 50/50...

I'm having problems keeping the acrylic away from the cuticle area and soft skin.....also...... My sculptures are really bad, my smiles are uneven and the tips are worse, at the very tip the are very thin....... :scram: I'm getting so frustrated with this, I feel like giving up! :oops...

I called a school here locally... The offer a refresher class( or called contiuning education).... It's about 100.00 for a 20 hr coarse, they go over everything, fiber/silks.... gels... and acrylics... they use Creative at the school, which is fine , since I have a hard time with that...
