    Bio Sculpture Gel - lifting

I've definately read that any medications for thyroid directlly affect any nail enhancements.....that's most definately the problem, especially if you have other clients with no problems. Everyone is different and not all gels are for everyone.....but I've specifically heard that thyroid meds...

    Bio Sculpture Removal

You can lightly buff the surface and soak off with acetone, the biosculpture soak off is a mixture of acetone and skin softeners.

    strongest soak off gel

I have found that OPI axxium soak off gel is very strong. Given that, it takes a bit longer to soak off, but if you combine it with some buffing too it goes fast.

    HELP Brisa Question!

Sorry...... When she came back for her first fill, her nails looks fantastic after 3 weeks. I may have used too abrasive a file to do the rebalance, since I ended up having to take more gel off than I anticipated, some nails much more than others. When she came back for the repair the...

    HELP Brisa Question!

Okay...... She did not have tips or sculpted tips on, this was all nno. When I did her rebalance, it had been 3 weeks, so when I looked closely although there was no cracks or chips, there were a few that were "loose" at the top, which I clipped out what was loose from the free edge and...

    HELP Brisa Question!

Thank you Karen. I will do that. I never realized that cuticle remover couldn't fully be removed with scrub fresh. Maybe now I won't have problems with pocket lifting here and there?? Terri

    HELP Brisa Question!

Thank you so much for the tip.....it wasn't registering that you were talking about "cuticle remover," I kept thinking "polish remover", which I kept thinking was alot like scrub fresh, so now I get it! Thank you. Maybe I'll just skip the cuticle remover to begin with and just push cuticles...

    HELP Brisa Question!

I did use a pretty heavy duty file, one that i have for my biosculpture. What grit should I be using? Maybe that's part of the problem. Yes, I did wipe off the remover, not that i used nail polish, because she had a french, but I used scrub fresh for wiping and cleansing. thanks! Terri

    HELP Brisa Question!

Btw, in case you were going to ask: here's what procedure i did for the fill: washed hands buffed down gel, looked for any loose gel cleansed applied bonder (the bonder that doesn't require curing) scrubbed in first layer of pink, cured 2 min applied second coat being careful to build...

    HELP Brisa Question!

Hi everyone, I normally use soak off gel, however one client I recently used brisa gel on. She came for a fill 3 weeks later, all nails were perfect, no lifting, chips cracks, etc., I was thrilled! So I did her fill, and a few days later, her right hand had some lifting and one popped...

    Bella Forma Gel

I received a free sample quite awhile ago, and I believe you follow basically the same procedure as Calgel. Not sure about this, but I think CalgelUSA started Belissima, but I'm not sure.

Can you use Gel on top of Minx??

Hi ladies, Question: I thought I've heard some people put gel over minx nails to help them last longer. If so, what is the process and how long will they last? What gel do you use overtop? Also, do you have to purchase the minx lamp? Thanks!! Terri

Anyone tried the new calgel light?

Hi ladies, A few months ago I purchased the new Crystal lamp from Calgel and wondered if anyone else has tried it. It is a cool light, whatever that means, but it seems to cure all gels I've used wonderfully. THe best part is you never have to change the bulbs. It is a bit pricey for sure...

    Soak off gel question....

Thanks for your response. Yes i find it only happens with people that have weaker or thinner nails. When you put the three sausages on the nail do you have to buff after? Thanks again!

    Soak off gel question....

Thanks ladies for all your responses. One question however was overlooked; has anyone found that some clients nails after having a soak off gel nno on, 2 weeks or so after the nail breaks on the side way down? Is this because its grown out some and theres no gel really there on the...

Still Problems with OPI Axxium Soak off??

Hi ladies, I have read in past posts about techs having problems with OPI axxium soak off gels (breaking nails etc). Does anyone still have problems? I have been using it only a short while and they seem great, especially for one client who needs a harder gel, harder than bio. Thanks, Terri

Anyone Hear of T.E.N. gel nails?

Hi all, This is a small company I believe and just in the US, but has anyone heard or tried these gels? Have heard wonderful things about them. Every coat flash cures for a few seconds only, then the final coat cures for 3 or 4 min. They are not a soak off gel. The other interesting...
