    Chest waxing

It can be a daunting task! Well done! I have 'hair maps' for Free Download here (about 2/3rds the way down the page). You can study the usual growth of men's torso hair growth.

    Babyliss double wax heater

For low volume strip wax this cheap heater is OK. For non-strip the thing is way too hot and 500cc is too small for back to back customers. Google Hive Digital and be at peace with your wax!

    Male waxing

I think that's the most offensive and bigoted statement I've ever read here. How dare you judge a male customer on such grounds? Who the heck do you think you are? Hair is hair and customers need therapists. Professional ones don't judge. I am very angry to read your ignorant remark...

    Is a website essential?

Adam, really - are you thinking straight? Websites; in 2011? - without it I would be invisible to 90% of my new customers! I wouldn't survive without a punishing advertising budget. Even if you put a grand into one. That's good money if the design fits your business. Nothin much more to...

Where to buy cheap wax kits?

"Where to buy cheap wax kits?" Don't. Please. Cheap <does not equal> Good. Please don't try offer professional services with cheap products. You should focus on providing a premium service with professional products - not those you get on Asda's discount shelves!

Please Help - Nightmare Male Back Wax!

No1. Agree with Mat. Cleanse, oil on, then parallel rip and Pressure! Don't pat the skin like you are drying a lettuce leaf - oil up your gloves (/hands) and put firm pressure on immediately after your fastest rip with your angriest elbow for 2 seconds for every strip. Think of it like whipping...

    Hot wax help

My best advice? Ensure you are insured for the treatments you sell. Basic waxing is usually the first level and intimate waxing is usually the next level. Please check that every course you train for is accredited for insurance. Jx

    Wax away

It's a difficult question to answer unless you've a)been trained in it and b)compared it to your ordinary wax. There are no suprises with PR waxes. They just work! Book yourself in on a discovery day in London. They're either free or very cheap.

Annoying wax on feet & toes!

Cold skin can be tricky - non strip wax is a bonus as it takes relatively longer to cool and does work better with swirls. Work faster! A waft of mineral oil is key!

    Top lip hair removal.

Hi Suzie, I think that your GP is your best route to treat the symptoms of your diagnosis. Standard BT procedures may only compliment - rather than be the primary course of treatments. I strongly doubt that anyone here is qualified to give you specific advice for your hirsuitisim based on...

    Most popular Male Wax Treatment

I agree with Jack, but for me Nostrils, Ears and Eyebrow tidy are right up there too. For intimate waxing - there are several willing to drive over 100 miles to see me every month.

    First eye brow waxing

It's important for my customers to leave with a face that doesn't have red stripes across it! Why can't we agree as an industry that modern "hot wax" is usualy about 20 degrees C cooler than "warm wax"!?? It's strip wax (hot with strips) and non-strip wax (cooler no strips) as far as I'm...

    Who's your insurance with?

How do you choose? I chose BABTAC because they offer the best package insurance - eg. £5M worth of libility compared to £2M with others. And there's no excess - so if I claim - I don't get the first £200 or whatever deducted. Just choosing an professional insurance company based on price...

    Wax maintaining temperature?

It did take me a while when I first started to find the right number on the dial for the waxes! I don't mean to sound funny, but just turn it up a bit (½ a notch) and leave it. I'd say that unless you're in a rush - just leave the dials set at working temperature and turn them on earlier...

    Nostril Wax

Please, please, please, please do not leave any tool (bit of stick / cotton bud / matchstick / etc) in the nostril (or ear). It's completely unnecessary, and the risk if the client moves suddenly (like a sneeze reflex) could be really bad. Free tutorial with photos and troubleshooting...

what to charge for nostril waxing?

There's a free one page tutorial with photos here too. It's just over half way down if you need skip right to it! There's an Ear one as well. I charge £6.50 for each - less with combination treatments. Free if I'm trying to get a regular customer to try something new! P.R. Euroblond is...
