Hi, Well it is hard to really say much until you pop up a photo so that we could see. But it could be a number of things. 1. Prep 2. Product placement 3. Products ( are you using the complete set ?? or bits of this and that ? ) 4. Filing That is just to name a few.

I would balance out the colour product first, all even, then cover with clear / pink in a thicker balance, then when it is time to file / buff, the colour will not come off. you learn the more you do...... This use to happen to me too.

Ouch.....that is worrying especially on a wooden table. I would of used CND product remover. But not sure of your surface...??? Good luck....sorry I could not help much.
