Hi Georgieeee

I'm seriously considering leaving dermalogica before. It's the most expensive but poorest investment I've ever made in my business.
I still to this day (3 years later) don't think I've made my initial investment back. Clients just don't buy it! They come in and I talk them through everything...
I was told that the solution had been changed as I had 3 bottles of solution go green on me in no time at all.
I rang and told them about it to which they said they would have someone get back in touch with me but never did, I then emailed them and got no reply. I finally had somebody ring...
I too am thinking of moving away from sienna x because of the big price increase. I currently offer a spray tan for £20 and I don't want to increase my price as I feel £20 is a nice price for a spray tan (not too cheap and not too pricey)

I've done the whole staffing thing. I had one girl who worked for me on a self employed basis who was brilliant and was fully booked very quickly!
I took a girl on employed and I couldn't get rid of her quick enough! I had that much of a bad experience with her that ill never take staff on...
Hey fellow geeks just looking for some inspirational ideas of what things you as a business owner do to protect your business.
I've just taken on a full time member of staff who is a fab therapist. Currently she isn't making her wage and is being paid from what I am making in the hope that...
I'm finding I make more money by a long shot just working on my own but I work very long hours and then I'm too tired to enjoy the money I've made. I could quite easily fill 7 days a week 12 hours a day with myself (I wouldn't dare though!)
I have a full time member of staff in to basically...
I tend to find if you deliver them yourself on a Sunday you get a much better response. We once had a 6000 leaflet drop done with our local paper. We got 1 back!
I'm still to this day convinced that they weren't delivered
But if you own the property (not lease) what can they really do?
You're right it's a total joke. Looks like we'll be in for maybe jan or feb, marvellous the quietest time of the year!
We can't as when clients want their treatments done they want them now now now!
Clients are sometimes getting their treatments done for a special occasion so if you don't have when they want available then you either make time or lose the work
Hey geeks we're needing a teeny bit of advice.
We've gone from the salon being so unbelievably busy where we can't physically book the work in even with us extending our already long opening hours to the salon being that quiet I'm panicking about paying wages etc.
Have you found this...
Ridiculous idea! Honestly I just wish companies would stop trying to be jack of all trades master of none. When I see beauty available in clothing shops I just think it cheapens the whole thing and makes it look a lot less skilled than it is
