I've got a client I bleach up but then I tone with 8/0 and 9/0 equal parts. It takes it down to how a highlift looks on the chart, really nice but still quite light

Make sure you are saturating the hair with your tint. It's something my trainee struggles with too. I'm not being bad to you, more your trainers.

Bloody hell With no disrespect to you, a tint is basic so if you struggle with that, you need more mentoring. You don't need this.

We used 8/81 on a client recently and got a real ice white, the picture attached is that client. I also did 10g 8/81 to 2g 7/89 on a gent and it looked great

Why not use a colour touch relights /03?

If her hair is ruined then I would colour fresh or Perfecton even. Hope she has learnt her lesson!!

Make up Perfecton to a /34 colour (by mixing /43 and /3) apply then dry in, then apply colour touch. Definitely no mixing in KP with illumina.
