Hiya, by gelee I assume you mean the old can style of diacolours? They have been changed to Dialight. I like 10.12 in dialight, very ashy. I'm not up on wella so couldnt advise you.
Or you could try TIGI Gloss 0/28.
Thats my personal favourites. HTH xxxxx
If the hair is short and very thick, I find they're good for removing extra bulk. I cant say I often use them on womens hair, just men for a little blending or if they have tons of hair. A stylist I worked with used to use them to shape around the face (on womens hair). Never seen this done by...
Agreed. If she's worried, explain to her that its diluted. Lightener - don't say bleach :), Water, low strength peroxide and shampoo. Dependant on your colour brand, I'd lookup what their recommended method of this is. I can give you TIGI's, but im sure someone else would be able to give you the...
To be fair hun, because your target is only a 7, i'd do a cleanse or 2, neutralise any warmth on the lengths and ends, and colour match the roots. Thats just personally what i'd do though, other geeks may do something different. HTH xxxx
What colour remover will you be using hun? Eraser is good, and they are 100ml, which the instructions state is enough for 2 applications. You'll probably be surprised by how good a result it gives :)
Hello again all,
Today, i did lift 100/0 with 30vol as a root retouch, between a base 5 and 6. I added about 3-4 inches /8 to counteract warmth.
Anyway, so I developed for approx 45 mins, as I read that it can be extended by an extra 15 mins if hair was coarse / thick and needed extra to lift...
Thanks guys. My client is a faded 5/6 on lengths and ends, and a natural base 6, about 25% grey.
I'm just wanting to bring her down to a more neutral brown, so was wanting the green to neutralise the red. Would you say calibrated ash would be of use here? And is it /88 for below a base 6 if I...
Ah thanks I was wondering as mix tones I've used so far are all coloured coming from the tube whereas the blue wasn't. I'm just watching it develop but hoping it will be enough to neutralise red. Xx
Hi all, made the switch to tigi copyright, loving them so far. Howver, I know they don't do a green mix tone, and they do 2 green shades but I don't have them in, and have a colour tomorrow, so am trying to make the green.
Now, logic would tell me that I can obtain this by mixing /33 and /1...
3 big steps :)
1. Contact your local council office and notify them of your business. If you have home insurance you'll also need to notify them or else you won't be covered.
2. Public liability insurance so you're covered for the services on clients. If you do a google search, there will...
Have you done any theory on the styling unit? If you're still on the shampoo unit then don't worry about the hydrogen bonds for now, they're a bit later. I'd revise the different types of shampooing techniques, as well as things like what hair density is, what hair texture is.
Have a look in...
Hi :) I'm hair but the business side of things is the same.
You'll need public liability insurance so you're covered legally, there are lots out there for freelancers, a good one is salon gold.
As well as this, remember to add business use to you car insurance policy, because if you ever...
An e3 exam is where you answer questions, and if you don't get 70% you can pass it by going through it with your tutor, so don't worry about it. The e4s are harder, as you have to get almost every one right to pass :)
I don't know what unit you are on, but from what you've done, I imagine it...
