    Gel II reviews please

I used NR on my very first removal and it didn't really touch it, so have used DSolve and now have the Gel II remover.

    Gel II reviews please

Make sure you are cleaning the nail plate effectively, including on and under the free edge as well as the stirring and rolling and you shouldn't get shrinkage. Personally for me Shellac smells stronger and I am sensitive to strong smells and sneeze easily with them. Thankfully nothing but...

    Rescue RXx

I've started to read differing opinions on how to use this and have already retailed some. The CND product profile does say that you paint on and massage in which is what I have told my client. It also says nothing about not using Solar Oil, can I ask how it affects the Rescuerxx?

    NHS discount advertising

I work for the NHS and I'm lucky to finish a drink, or sometimes even go to the loo during a shift. Reading my work emails can be a challenge too so there is no room in my head to even think about looking on that media platform. In fact I'd completely forgotten that we had such a thing until...

A bit of a weird one

There is no way I would walk around on someone else's floor bare foot for two reasons, one being hygiene and the other not feeling that my feet were protected.

What is going on with Tibby Olivier?

Yep, it's quite ugly and very unprofessional out there at the moment.

Converted garages - would you do anything different?

Thank you. My Husband would want to cover in the walkway that is between the house and the garage and make it into a boot room and coming in when we're all muddy with the dog. This was going to be the client's entrance but no way now! So apparently there are some new garage doors...

Converted garages - would you do anything different?

Firstly I'm not sure if this one should be in chit chat instead, but I'll make a start here. Those of you who have converted garages into beauty rooms, now you have lived with it as working space, would you have done anything differently with the conversion? Are there any bits of the design...

Facial on a severely autistic client

How lovely to help someone have the chance to relax like this. I totally agree with what's been said and would also look at the consent side and capacity. If the communication between the two of you is done via his Mum, then she needs to stay for the duration.

    Professional Beauty 2015

We're driving as we are staying in London for a few days, but I would drive even if going just for the day. It's so cold in February that it's so nice to be in a warm car and run in from the car park, compared to when I have done the public transport across London. I'm such a wimp with the cold!

    Garden Muse Shellac collection

It's been a long time since I have been this happy about a collection and I can't wait to get my hands on every single one of them.

Can I use Brisa Lite Top Coat over Shellac?

I know it's too late, but I just wanted to say that if you went ahead with this then don't panic it will be fine. I often used to do this with my own to give more protection working with acetone, plus I had a client that used to prefer BL top coat even though she knew that on her own head be...

    Unsure about Gel ll

But your post is true though and a couple of years ago we saw it with everyone comparing Shellac with Gelish.

    Clients/therapists that won't stop talking

As others have said, steer the conversation towards them. Concentrate on asking open questions rather than closed ones so that they end up talking more.

    Saddle stool

I have a really thick padded one I bought from Olympia last year, so it was on offer at around £70 from Beauty Express. I think it's called the Texas. I'm afraid SG won't let me upload an attachment to show you, but I will say it's one of the best things I have bought, it's so comfortable...

    Shellac with Gelish 18G lamp

I would love to see that video made once again using a colour from a recent collection. I reenacted that video using a colour pop and got a very different result to that video. ;-)

Salmon Run & Fragrant Freesia disappointing to use

I havn't got them yet, but I would be tempted to get a metal implement in them and give them a good ole stir before shaking.

    Unsure about Gel ll

Who knows? I think it's because people like to have a product that will fit every client rather than matching the correct product for the nail condition and lifestyle of the individual client. One size doesn't fit all and I just think people forget, especially when we can see how great Shellac...

    Unsure about Gel ll

It's weird because I was ready for the smell when I first got mine and I don't find it smells much at all. I'm a funny for one for that sort of thing too as I cannot stand CND Nourishing Remover or DSperse, so I was pleasantly surprised. Also, I noticed the solvent smell with Shellac after...

    Unsure about Gel ll

It's a shame you felt you had to apply it really thick as it will more than likely chip now and it was possibly the reason why you were experiencing a heat spike in the lamp. I love the application of Gel II, it's a beautiful and creamy consistency and the brush makes the application lovely...
