How do you remember your polishes?

I must be odd as I never have this problem, I can remember every colour and type I have! What a weirdo!

I'd highly recommend CND. They will be there for you throughout your training and whole career. Also they are a leading suppler to the industry, producing top of the range yummy products! You really need to do a 'legit' course to get your insurance, and to get an account to buy these amazing...

    Acrylic nails-making them last longer?

Might be an idea to ask your tutor, or book in for a 121 short course? I dont know who you did your training with, but I know at CND its an option. :)

    Advice needed, L&P

Maybe a little infection, that could have nothing to do with you. I have these sometimes and they are a bit yukky! She could try soaking in hot salt water and see if anything is drawn out. Gp said I am more prone as I am diabetic. Until you look at her finger though you wont know.

    Solar Oil and other rrp's?

I charge £3 for the pinkies, as I include the price of removal in my Shellac set price, so already 'giving' something away if you see what I mean? all the rest I price as above. I just think to myself 'what would I be willing to pay'? Also if we all stick around the same price it doesn't...

    Acrylics made in China help!

Cant really say as I don't know what it is, but personally I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Doesn't have the ring of 'nice' product to me, everything the sales rep has told you is ringing alarm bells. :)

    What is an NSS

Do a little search in the search box at the top right of your screen, there is sooo much there that will give you a grand idea of the scale of what is an NSS and whats thought of NSS's :)

    New interest in gel nails

The only thing Id say about home courses is that you really dont get that one to one education you do with your tutor on a normal course, and sometimes especially in enhancements you will need 121. Like has been said the only home course I have heard of that is accredited with the beauty guild...

    Most popular Shellac colors?

As for colours, its all a personal thing. Lots of my clients have their own favorites. Tutti fruity still seems a well loved one and red baroness. Strawberry smoothie is my personal yummiest french pink. But the thing with Shellac is the world is your oyster with the colour as you can create so...

    Rockstar Nails - new brush!

LOVE these! especially the holographic ones. I just use one on my kids pain brushes (new one of course) and it works great, like others have said through the more abused the better!

    Shellac - then what?

Have you done the Shellac 'master painter' course yet? If I were you I would go and do a retention + (l&P) or Brisa gel course, like the op said CND educators are amazing teachers. Also learning L&P or Gel would add a whole lot more to your salon menu! :)

    Do I lower my prices?

What a lovely comment from 'the other side' of the table :)

    Which ones should I use?

Shellac all the way, it gets asked for by name. As for the colours, You are unlimited in the colour combos through layering and additives you can create and as the OP's stated financially its better and also for the sake of space in your kit bag its better! You say you like nail art, well since...
