Really?? That seems a lot. My council said I didn't need to inform them unless I was doing piercing. I would check with someone else before you pay out. Good luck!
Oh my god! I know who you mean. I go on that site! I never did a treatment for her but she wanted enhancements and pedicure and kept texting me giving me grief as I couldn't do the day she wanted. I have just looked and you are right she is a beautician - same mobile number! I didn't notice...
That's what I have been doing, dashing diva with shellac. It's really popular, people really love it and I charge more!

That's what I do, sometimes I put mother of pearl on too - gorgeous!
I havent had any problems with my top coat at all. I have had 4 bottles now. The only time it went really thick was when I went to a brides house and do her nails in the garden, was a really hot day and it started to cure!!:|
Trust me I never compromise my 'safety'! They are only feet! Obviously if they had something awful going on I would not do them. It's common sense in my personal opinion.
Personally I would do the shellac. I'd want them to look nice for her wedding day, also as she helps look after your daughter. I have a similar situation and if it was my ex's girlfriend I'd def do it x
No, I would never use gloves for a pedicure. I don't think it is needed and I don't think the client would feel very comfortable if I used gloves to touch their feet. I know I wouldn't.
That's interesting gigi, I wouldn't have thought of that.
I couldn't get the lid of my gel bond off the other night, so had to snip the corner off the end!
I have also had shrinkage of colours and worked out it was my base coat not covering the whole nail. I think cream puff would be fine over a base coat as it's a colour like the others
I would also recommend CND for nails. I haven't done anything else yet, but am thinking of doing waxing with Kim lawless, not sure if you wanted to do waxing. Sorry I can't be of any help.
I have just left a message. She came here but I am happy to go to hers to do it, feel quite bad. I do have them lined up but because she was in a rush I felt rushed and got a bit stressed. Nails did look nice so hopefully she will still be happy with the service. Will wait for her to call...
I just did a search and found this. I am in the same position, sort of! My 18 month old is starting nursery couple of afternoons a week in september, but only 2 and a half hours though each session, so I am considering making his hours a bit longer so I can actually do some nails. I'm in the...
Client just called to say one hand is all sticky, I forgot to use d sperse! Told her to use some soap and water, what an idiot! I just tried on my on nail with soap and water and it was hard to get off.
What should I have done/do?
Hi, welcome to the site.
It takes me about 45 mins, depending on how much prep needs to be done. If I talk a lot it really slows me down! I have been doing it a month now, I was taking longer but have done loads now so really getting the hang of it
Everything CND for me. The spa mani/pedi products are gorgeous.
Shellac is fantastic, I spent £600 last month on it all and I can honestly say I'm not far paying it off with what I made. For example I have had 9 shellac bookings since tuesday night. This really would be on the top of my...
Sorry I know you want less but mother of pearl is a must in my opinion as it goes over all colours. Tutti frutti has as so been popular as well as tropix.
