Leighton Denny polish still wet after 4 hours?

Can anybody advise please.. I work in a spa salon where LD products are used for manicure and pedicure. Some(not all) clients are complaining that the polish is literally taking hours to dry properly and are returning with dents and ripples which have occurred hours after they have left the...

    Disinfecting/sterilising

Hi Michelle, you don't HAVE to take the sharp edges off but it strongly recommended that you do. OPI actually sell a gismo that does the job for you. It's neat. Yes, you should sanitise/disinfect your abrasives between clients... there are many companies that sell sprays for this job. Why not...

    Disinfecting/sterilising

Hiya.... I'm lead to believe that yes, tools have to be immersed in the Barbicide for at least 15mins but as for the spray I'm not sure whether it disinfects immediately. In an earlier post certain peeps were getting quite heated about the fact that sterilisation really isn't necessary, and...

    Pro Styler or Sculpter?

Hiya.... Before you throw out your old brush, did you give it a good soak in your chosen monomer? Sometimes this is all that is needed..maybe leave the brush standing up (supported) in a dappen dish of Radical or Retention + for a good few hours. I have used a Prostyler for years and I...

    Lifting problems with Acrylic

Hi Shelley... be aware... some clients tell pork pies! They are not all as good at looking after their nails as they say they are. Having said that.. I had one client a while back and no matter what I put on her nails, whether it was enamel, gel, fibreglass or liquid and powder... (I tried...

    Bye-bye dusty nail plate!

NSI do a lovely little nylon/plastic brush which is excellent for dust removal, if you're particularly worried about sanitising etc, It can be put in a dishwasher.. so I am told. It's called a Plush Brush and it only costs about £2-35.
