I thought similar to you which is why i have come to ask advice here
I am thinking gelish because you can cure with led, which is quicker too.
It is more expensive than other brands however it is a very known name and I can advertise using this too
I do have a registered card and it is...
Thank you. I am considering training again in gelish anyway. No she didnt specify but I have my reservations on this anyway. I have done a lot of reading which is why I wanted to ask on here and have started a thread about this too x
Also it is not just me having the problems with the nail (although mine last a shorter time lol) but my friends I have done this on are lasting maybe 10 days max (maybe with one in between needing to be repaired)
I want to start professionally as a business but if I can not get this right on...
I am confident that my prep is ok as I have spoken to my trainer, watched videos, read all my instructions just to make sure I have remembered properly from my training. But there is just one thing I know it I am not getting right and it is frustrating me... could it be the adhesive do you think...
I found it became tatty around the outside quite easily. I have the instructions also which i was given after my training and am doing everything it says to do. I didnt have any problems when on natural nails but once on enhancements only lasting around a week and then the glue was coming loose...
As some of you may know from previous posts I am looking at changing my system
Thanks to everyones advice I had almost decided on Gelish. This is available at Sallys and although more expensive than some systems, I know that clients will recognise the name and the fact it cures with a LED...
Im really sorry if it appears like that. I am not trying to be tight. I have paid out for a system which my trainer recommended me to get to train with and i hate it (lechat) so I have paid all that money and not will just throw it away.
I am looking to pay around £200 for a lamp and basic...
Im sorry let me clarify!
I mean how long do enhancements last full stop. Sorry. Mine loosen where they attach to the natural nail and then ping off, but when they 'unstick' (where the glue is) then the gel will just break obviously because they have no way of sticking to the nails. I am...
I dont think i would need to do conversion but I am thinking about doing this... I am having a real melt down about the whole thing today. The decision is massive for me and it isnt about me wanting to be cheap, I dont mind paying up to around £200 to start with but that is my absolute limit...
Oops sorry! I did look but it asks me to scan my certificate but i dont have a scanner. But thank you, I will look into this and try and find a way around it.
I am at my witts end looking at all these brands, it is all very confusing!
And such a big decision to decide
I use the cheap adhesive for enhancements from sallys. I am wondering if this could be it? The colour is fine under the tip loosens then just pings off - but the gel is still in place until it pings off and under near the nail plate (below where the nail enhancement was) there is still gel on...
also I have been looking at gelish and the lamp is very expensive - can you use any led lamp? and also does it need to be 18 watts. Im sorry for the questions but I want to be sure when I change and once I have set up properly and made some money I will upgrade my lamp etc
Thank you for your advice,it really is appreciated. Please could you give examples of afffordable products that can be sured with an LED amp, many thanks
I wont be offended so any advice really is appreciated! Can gellish and gellux both be cured with an LED lamp? My friend is just about to go on the gelish course. I have already done a course and it is just the system I am hoping to change
