    Shellac burgandy creme?

Fedora is a nice deep creme burgundy colour. It's quite dark though. To tone it down to a more wine colour you can layer tinted love over the top. Looks lush x

Natural nails peeling after 2 Shellac treatments

This is really interesting thanks so much for the advice. I've been having a look into purchasing the brisa lite kit recommended for use with shellac, sounds great! Could you advise me, would using the brisa lite as a foundation under shellac be a suitable alternative to wearing Gel? I've been...

Best eyelash glue, lashes, pads etc. Results of my unofficial poll

Hiya, the issue is not that the product is made abroad, the issue is that it has not yet been EU certified. I looked into it and the ISO medical grade is to Korean standards, not EU. As Lashgirl pointed out, this doesn't necessarily mean it's unsafe but until it has been assessed and approved to...

Best eyelash glue, lashes, pads etc. Results of my unofficial poll

I've tried a few but really like secret lashes and lashbase xxx Update on sky glue - really loving it, but for insurance reasons I am continuing my search and have been trialling Eyelash Emporium, which is nice to work with, fast setting, thin and retention seems good so far. xx

Natural nails peeling after 2 Shellac treatments

Thanks again for all your helpful advice views and comments. Totally agree on the removal issue and as I said previously my removal is part of the service, I don't charge for it! But at the same time I guess in hindsight, I'm a bit easy going and very trusting! I often give out solar oil...

Natural nails peeling after 2 Shellac treatments

Thanks so much for your replies geeks, really appreciate the response! I think you may be right that problem lies in the 'at home removal'. I've gone through removal with her and from what she says she's doing it right... Maybe I'm a bit naive but I believed her, so was wondering if it was...

Natural nails peeling after 2 Shellac treatments

Hi geeks, I've had a new customer come to me with perfectly healthy nails which I have applied shellac to. When coming back for her third set her naturals nails had started to peel terribly on her right hand only - peeling so extreme that it created a step down to her free edge. I advised...

Best eyelash glue, lashes, pads etc. Results of my unofficial poll

Hiya, I use to use Flirties expert & Flirties Ultra, both of which I love but unfortunately the fumes with these glues make me poorly. I have recently tried lashbase extreme and it's absolutely fine, seems to last well and ok to work with. In comparison to the flirties glue, the lashbase glue is...

    Patch test for lashes

Hiya, I also use every product I would use for lash extensions as part of the patch test to expose them to all products, just in case they are sensitive to another element of the treatment..... How you differentiate what they've reacted to is another issue... But often it's obvious if it's the...

Flirties or Lash Base glue please?

After the gutting news from lash revolution (no longer supplying):( I tried flirties ultra. Was always a fan of the flirties expert strength but it gave me headaches so sampled the ultra to see if it's any better. My verdict: loved using it, nice thin viscosity and super quick drying....but it's...

    Total lash dilemma

Any news on this? I am in the same situation. Gutted as I love this glue. I was using flirties beforehand which I also loved, but sadly I started reacting to it whilst working with it :( Anyone found anything comparable? I've seen a few threads mentioning sky glue? Was thinking about lash...

    Lash Revolution pro glue

So after patch testing a couple of clients at the weekend with the Pro+ sample I did an infill tonight.... and I had no reaction! Was really nice to work with, very impressed! I just hope it lasts well too. Just made an order for some. Many thanks from a now very happy lasher xxxx

    Lash Revolution pro glue

JigglyB4ll - Nice one!! I've just searched air purifier and gone onto Amazon - loving it!! So they're basically just a mini humidifier... and a fraction of the cost of the machines that come up when I search humidifier! Ah I am so chuffed, ordering one right now! Sounds like they could be...

New eyelash extension specialist, stressed out!

It's all practice I'm afraid! I would recommend you practice on friends and family as practicing on strip lashes just isn't the same really. From what you've said I gather you've barely done two sets yet so you really haven't even begun! Give it a chance, once honed lashes are a fab addition...

    Lash Revolution pro glue

Good advice EllieBee... horrible thought that it's sucking moisture from our orifices (oo-er)!! I trained with Novalash and they recommended having a humidifier (rather than a de-humidifier!) These I believe are very expensive though! However I was recommended as a cheaper (but less effective)...

    Gelicure

Boo! How discouraging! I think the best thing you can do is go and get your own nails done with gelicure and see how you like it? And then perhaps try Gelish too, then you can decide for yourself? It may be worth buying some and having a go with it yourself or if you know a fellow therapist...

    Lash Revolution pro glue

Thanks for your response elliebee! This is quite encouraging! I've been exactly the same with the flirties... thought perhaps I'd mistaken being poorly as an allergic reaction to the glue, so after a couple of weeks using the flirties odour and fume free I risked the expert flirties again...

    Lash Revolution pro glue

Oooh I'm excited! Fellow lash geeks can you advise me: I've been using flirties expert speed and strength for about 18 months and I love it! However after returning work after maternity leave I seem to have become sensitive to it (whilst lashing clients - dry, tight throat, headache, eye ache...

Best eyelash glue, lashes, pads etc. Results of my unofficial poll

Hiya, after using Flirties Expert Speed & Strength for about 18 months, I tried the odour & fume free flirties glue for a client with sensitive eyes and was really pleased with it also. I found the lashes lasted just as well. I have now started to move all my clients over to this glue as I've...
