With OPI gelcolor the base coat is the part of the system that soaks off, the colour and top coat are pure gel. That's why after soaking for 10 - 15 mins it almost curls off the nail plate in one lovely big piece! Buffing through the top coat really isn't needed. Did you use the full system? xx

If you record it at all I would put it down as advertising. Apart from loving having my nails look good one of the main reasons I do them is advertising my products and services. Advertising is a cost to the business and tax deductible so works in your favour! xx

Love love love OPI gelcolor. Went back to do a lady's nails on Monday whom I hadn't seen for exactly 4 weeks and all nails were perfectly intact! Love the colours too, plus 12 new ones coming out at the end of this month xx

Hi all For anyone who loves OPI gelcolor or is just interested I have just seen announced on Facebook that there are 6 new colours being added to the gelcolor range. They will be out mid May and come from the new Holland collection. I love this range of colours and cant wait!! xxx

Hi Have you used Lumos top coat before or is this the first time? You have to load your brush and just float the top coat over the colour using as little strokes as possible. Hth Xx

I have also heard of using Gelbond to apply crystals but have never tried it. I have tried with Shellac, Gelish and Gelcolor but none are strong enough without top coat, I don't like to use top coat as I don't care what anyone says it dulls the crystals down hugely when applied over them. I am...

As you remove the brush from the bottle u scrape the excess off the front, back and sides of the stalk. I have never had any dripping problems. xx

Hi You really have to shake the bottles a lot to get a good colour consistency, I think this is where your problem is. I am loving gelcolor as are lots of people so you haven't wasted your money. xx
