    IBX Restore & Repair?

Thanks very much hun, that was V helpful. I'll see how to play it, I just hate having people spend money when they don't have to as frequently as it's suggesting. Will aim for as the manufacturer says and see how I go. x I'm not worried about investment as my nails will love this stuff anyway...

    IBX Restore & Repair?

Gosh, I have just read from page 1 to 36 and I just had to stop reading and post my question anyway as there was no answer for my Q as far as I could see. Apologies if it's been answered in pages 37-59! So the IBX gets cured INTO the nail which is great, so my question is when proceeding to...

    Cost per service calculation?

I dont do gels yet and im insured through CND whilst i'm training. Once i'm qualified in L&P i will get insurance before i do any on a client. I'm going to look into when to register as i was sure some previous advice was you only have to register once you begin advertising. Thanks for your...

    Cost per service calculation?

I'm not registering yet as I will only be charging people to cover my costs to gain experience and practise for when I acutally register as a business and then charge full price for a service. I was just wondering how to factor in everything inc. equipment as i'm not loosing out on a cost per...

    Twinkle Toes & Shellac

Hiya Welcome :) I'm relatively new to the site too but there is a search function on here which is useful for info. Have a look through. You'll see from other threads that you have to have the correct CND lamp to cure Shellac, the cheap lamps off Ebay don't work so don't waste your money...

Would this table be suitable for mobile?

Ooo i see. Right, so a higher one is better i guess. I'll be using a standard dining room chair which the client will have (hopefully), so i'll measure against one of mine. Thank you for your help :)

Would this table be suitable for mobile?

I'm new to this and i'm finding working at a standard dining table back breaking and i never do a good enough job of L&P as it takes me a while. Reaching across is awful. Would this table be ok, i'm looking for something suitable for mobile. Buy Folding Camping Picnic Table with Heat Resistant...

    Gotcha Shellac Applied Too Thinly?

Hiya I've done Shellac on my nails today for the first time and tried the Gotcha out of the kit. It's not quite opaque with the two coats i applied and I can still see my natural smile line and free edge. Do i need to apply thicker or is this the "look" of this colour? I want to start doing...

CND Course - what to wear?

Hi hun I did that course recently and you don't need professional dress. I went in white linen pants and a nice top, then i did another course and went in smart trousers and a shirt. Maybe get a tunic when you're certain you will be going pro x

    Best Way To Remove Enhancements?

50mins to soak off? I use the CND L&P system and it doesn't take me that long to remove. I soak nails in acetone heated by warm water for 15mins, file off the gelly stuff, soak again for 10more mins and then it's all off. I buff nail with a high grit buffer to smooth and then rub Solar Oil in...

Booked my CND l&p Foundation Course!

Something you need which isn't in the kit it TIME! Be prepared to have time free to practice on people after class so you can step up your game. I didn't think it would be that intense but it sure is and i have a 3month old to look after too... Have friends lined up ready to practice on. Good...

Had to leave her nails 1/2 done :(

Thanks for all the support ladies :) I've been back this morning to finish them off and she's really happy with them. It took me a little longer to buff than i thought, so probably 3hrs30mins in total. I'll have a look at tip blender and see if that might help, but i'll give my other 3 sets...

Had to leave her nails 1/2 done :(

I'm loving this advice! I only got my kit out as needed from my box tonight, thinking that would save me time - lol. Obviously not! I'll get organised next time and lay it all out nicely. TBH my friend had me working on her ironing board as i haven't had time to get a table yet (course was...

Had to leave her nails 1/2 done :(

Thats a fab idea about timing. I will try that for sure next time! I think some of the problem is faffing around choosing the correct file or nearly doing a step of prep at the wrong stage and realsing so flapping a bit lol. Thanks for the tip xxx
