When you book the appointment with her, or confirm it, I'd just pop the word hat in, so say something like "okay, so we're still going for the hat nail art?" then if she hasn't realised, that might prompt her, and she'll either say yes please or omg no!

Right I think I'm going to go for Just Gel, I'm very familiar with all Grafton's brands and IBD. I'm just a bit concerned about what a few of you have said about the base coat... if you don't use it, why? And those that use the Gelish one instead, do you still brush it before applying...

Thanks so much for your reply, it is helpful! I wondered, with the IBD, do you need to brush the base the coat, or if not, do you still brush the Gelish base coat if using the IBD polish? And may I ask why you're not keen on the base coat?
