if you don't enjoy doing pamper parties then don't do them! that's one of the perks of having your own business, you don't have to do anything you aren't happy doing :) I don't do weddings for that very reason but if someone enquires i refer them to a friend who specialises in them. She is able...
i would think that it would depend on whether your insurance company would cover you. many state that they won't despite there being no evidence that treatments are dangerous during the first trimester. Just give them a ring and ask them.
sorry just read ur post properly doh!!!

I would go and visit the salon in person, that way it will be more difficult for them to fob you off and you will know for certain whether there is a space available, (the previous salon may have gotten their facts wrong).

As i'm mobile I will knock £5 off combined treatments as it saves me travelling time and petrol. However, if someone had the cheek to ask me for a reduced price the answer would be no! (i'd probably charge them extra for being so cheeky )
I love NSI attraction, especially the coloured acrylic powders. I also use their trade tan, its surprisingly good for the price and my tanning clients prefer it to the more well known brands :wink2:
I must admit for things like this where i'm not even going to cover my expenses i try to 'encourage' clients to come to my home. However, its not always possible so i just have to take the hit sometimes - its a pain but its part of the job i suppose :irked:. I always take the opportunity to...
A colleague of mine used to use the blue shampoo on her 613 extensions to remove the yellow tones. She only had to do it once and it had the desired effect. I would imagine though that you would have to be very careful that the extension hair didn't 'grab' the blue tone as it is already highly...
my sister in law is just finishing her Nvq l2 and says that they were not told to tweeze afterwards - guess that explains all the uneven brows lol

waxing is my bread and butter money, lots of repeat clients and low product costs. at this time of year tanning is extremely popular and has a good profit margin but i find it dies off a bit after the summer. really the two treatments compliment eachother but if i had to choose one i'd...
i always wax the majority first then go in with the tweezers to create a sharper line. many of my clients were quite shocked when i first produced the tweezers though as previous therapists hadn't used them!

hmmm, at one time i would have loved it but now i value my independence too much. although i live with my O H i pay all the bills etc. he does chip in with extras but i hate asking him for money, i suppose i like the idea that i can cope perfectly well on my own.
