I have always used oil as a barrier before intimate hot waxing. A colleague of mine uses powder instead and works just as well. What’s people’s thought?

Maybe she touched the patch test area and then touched her eyes? I wouldn’t do it either as she might just come back and complain about it.

Poor you. I had a client like that. Lovely lady but it was unpleasant. I had to use lots of sanitising spray and wear gloves.

What machine do you have?

It could be the size of your shield. What size did you use on those clients? My tutor recommended to use more of the small shields as you get a better curl. Also can I ask. With NOUVEAU LVL do you use damp cotton wool at the end to wipe the lashes?

Can someone advise me on what am doing wrong. We use opi gel colours and really starting to dislike them. For example Lincoln park hates me. When I have finished with wiping the nails at the end they tend to go a bit dull and some parts are shiny. It happy with most dark colours. Why is that?

Hi, I don’t use water to remove as the water brakes the bonds. I remove the perm solutions with dry cotton buds. Once it’s all removed I remove the glue from the rods and skin with the nourishing oil then brush the lashes. Also advise client not to rub, not to sleep on side to avoid squashing...

I did a course on natural facelift massage but didn’t learn much. It was things I did all ready. There are lots of videos on YouTube and I have picked up some good techniques.

Maybe she had the eyelash lift too soon after the previous perm. And as they were over processed, needed more time for the lashes to recover. Maybe recommend to use the lash oil.

Don’t do it. I had my lashes done very badly and the lady cut them.I wasn’t happy by how they looked and had them removed by another salon. To my horror, once removed my own lashes had been cut in the process. I was so upset and had to wait ages for them to grow.

Sorry to change question but there are some colours that I have problems with. Even after shaking them for ages, when applied they seem to shrink away from sides and tips. How do I solve that problem? Any tips would be appreciated

can you just advise the client ,that after removal to use nail streghner with calcium to hydrate the nails again?
