I used to offer my staff to free treatments apart from a small contribution for spray tans, lashes they had their own trays, and shellac every 2 weeks. It had to be outside of their working hours and only on quiet times if a client wanted an appointment and a member of staff was booked in then...
Don't do it!!! Just kidding kinda. It is so hard and so rewarding, it's fantastic and I never felt so in control of my life as I did during the best times of having my salon but it has lows and the stress can crush you.
It crushed me. 4.5 years into my salon and I've gone to a home salon and...
Mailchimp - loads of templates that can be edited easily (but can be time consuming writing them) they can look really good.
It's free aslong as you have under about 2000 (not 100% sure in the figure) people on your email marketing list.
I have just came on here to look for reviews on gel ll. shellac just doesn't last enough on my clients, and people seemed to be disappointed.
I thinking will get a colour and top coat and given it a try.
What about setting up 2 mailchimp accounts and do the email in both? I'm not haute how it would work or if it would work as you'd need a different email address.
I may have just wasted both of our time lol
I had 3 children, started a business and I now have a beautiful 3 week old boy.
I employ staff, but I havent figured out how I can make it work yet
I'm just winging it die the time being
Employers can no longer reclaim ssp unfortunately so if a staff member goes off sick it's the employers responsibility :(
I would definitely seek legal advice about it, try ACAS first and from there. Best of luck x
I'm interested in this aswell.
I have collected numbers and permissions for text marketing, but have yet to do anything with them.
I do emails and do one regular monthly email and the odd mid month update.
I definitely think once a month is acceptable, more often im unsure.
:)
I'm being induced Saturday and I'm working until the end of the businesses a day Friday.
I own a salon and employ 2 therapists.
I will be having 3 weeks off apart from daily communication and wages, but this will be from home.
After that I will be popping in every day for a couple of hours...
Elemis' opening order is quite exp naive, they do have a cheaper option. They don't supply mobile therapists and don't have a minimum room/therapist amount anymore.
I've recently had a rep out to go through everything.
:)
Does anyone have any good places to buy gift boxes from. I'd like to put together some Eve Taylor, CND etc sets and want to display them in boxes with shredded tissue paper.
:)
It must be kicking out a lot of steam to do that kind of damage!!
What about something like a dehumidifier? I do t have any experience by they draw moisture out of rooms, so theoretically it should donut. I'm just not sure how quick they work.
