    Where to find pensioners!

Bingo halls :wink2: Also ask local council where elderly residence halls and apartments are, local salvation army. Many elderly people work in charities voluntarily so maybe target a few charities. They also have gatherings so maybe offer a referral discount. Maybe offer people who bring...

    Starting up a salon

This is a hard one to answer unless you can outline exactly what you propose to do in the salon such as refurb, paint and decorate, plastering, build a reception, lighting, electrics, plumbing and so on..... Not to forget the insurance, BABTAC or any other memberships, salaries, advertising...

    Competition watching my every move

I'd take it as a compliment! They're copying as you have a great business and they do not have originality. A copycat can never be the originator so don't worry keep doing what you are doing they will just be a cheap copy of your business!

    Companies House- registering your name?

I can't say there is no way but as far as I know there isn't really. Even as limited company people can copy your name. For example if you set up something like Crazy Nails Ltd someone can register Crazy Nails UK Ltd! There will be nothing you can do about this. It will cost you about £26 to...

    Companies House- registering your name?

Trading names are nothing to do with the council so they won't be able to help. It's not a council issue.

    No shows....for job opportunity!

It's a shame you are getting no shows in the current climate. I usually get the interviewees to call an hour prior to the appointment and if they don't then I'll carry on with my day. Also I found some really good CV's on Hair2BeautyJobSource.com: Beauty Jobs | Hairdressing Jobs | Beauty...

    Bad idea?

I'd imagine if people are coming to a 1 bed flat or studio flat it's pretty intimate I personally wouldn't want that. If you've just qualified wouldn't it be good to get a job first, build a client base, then use that money to learn to drive, get a car, then go mobile or get a room in a gym...

    Which new car to buy?

I'd imagine this thread willbe moved but I'd say have a look on google and search for guaranteed finance. The interest rate will be higher but with bad credit comes negatives so not much choice. Or you can try your local ban for a loan as the interest will be lower. As for which car I'd say...

Looking for a treatment room to rent/share

Well they usually have an used room so for them it's an extra income. Also if it's a half decent gym the clients will want to use our services so this will set them apart from the competition. Maybe you will have to offer staff and members a discount or something like that. With a gym you can do...

As an employer I found some great CV's on Hair2BeautyJobSource.com: Beauty Jobs | Hairdressing Jobs | Beauty Recruitment but I can't say as an employee looking. But surely it's worth registering with Agencies as yiu don't have to pay them the Salon will.
