What is going on with Tibby Olivier?

I have to say it's all very worrying. Also very worrying that TO isn't saying anything to explain it or deny it.

    Numbing cream for waxing?

Are you talking about Tibby Olivier? I agree. It seems very odd to call it 'no more ouch' and then when someone called about it to say it isn't numbing cream. Makes no sense.

    Numbing cream for waxing?

I do my own Hollywood and find holding the skin firmly and pressing hard on the area after removal makes a big difference! I don't get grossed out at all...I just see any hair as hair that needs removing. I dint think about where it is. TIbby Olivier called the Dutchess Wax 'no more ouch' when...

Sleep crying over dog that was put to rest

I've also got a cavalier. He's 17! He's amazing but I'm also going to have to let him go soon...I know he's struggling and I don't want him to suffer. We had his brother put to sleep 2 years ago when he was 11. He had the heart condition and it was awful. We had Ollie put to sleep we had him...

    Show us your nail foils

Shellac seems to be ok, it's Gelish that can be problematic. I always use a dark colour because it gives a better finish, so black, purple purple, rock royalty. Good luck! X

    Show us your nail foils

Hi Carly. If you look a few posts back you'll see what I wrote to someone else. You don't need to use glue over shellac or gelish. The foil sticks to the tacky layer. I think the glue will cause a service breakdown. Hth x

    Show us your nail foils

To be honest if you want total coverage I've found some colours better than others. Shellac is much better for foils than Gelish because it's tackier. Some of the darker Gelish colours seem more slippy than tacky! :-) x

    Bio Sculpture cracking

Hi all. I don't use hard gel but a friend has messaged me to say that her friend has had bio sculpture gel nails and after 4 days they are all cracked (like crackle glaze!) and her nails are sore from filing. Could anyone tell me what would have caused the cracking please? (For some reason I can...

    Show us your nail foils

You don't need to use foil glue when applying over Gelish. Just stick the foil directly onto the sticky coloured layer and then apply TIO. I usually apply a second coat of TIO if the foil design completely covers the nail...you shouldn't have any problems then. Hth. X

Show us your baby bumps and scans

A long time ago...but I had a scan on the day my son was born because they were concerned he was too big for me to deliver. They predicted his weight at 9lb 14oz...he was born a few hours later (thankfully by C section!) and weighed 10lb 10oz!! Quite a significant difference if I'd been trying...

    Hepatitis C

If you read my post, you'd have seen that I'm not concerned about a threat to me. It was my husbands over reaction I was asking advice about. I take all necessary precautions and am confident in my standards of cleanliness, I was asking how to handle the situation regarding further treatments...

    Hepatitis C

Thank you to those of you have given sound advice and support. To those of you who have criticised me for speaking to my husband about it, I'm a little surprised by your response. People come on to this forum all the time to ask for advice, and asking my husband is no different. I didn't mention...
