Use a base 9 with a violet tone, it'll bring it down more and the tone will be slightly stronger in the base 9

Ah see I hold the barrel mostly but hold the handle when it's more comfortable to do do. I find holding the barrel much better for posture, otherwise you're shoulders are constantly raised. Most hairdressers think I'm weird but I saw someone I used to work with doing it. Wish I was ambidextrous...

It smells like bleach IMO and strong at that, but lifts brilliantly with 10/20 vol. I hate to think how many people out there are using this strong bleach with 30/40 vol unnecessarily. I know one stylist that has it on her roots with 40 and she's a base 8!!!

Where do u guys get your swatches from. I've always wanted to make my own colour chart. But also for testing different colours! Great idea. And love the 'base 5' mixes. What colours do you use Adam?

Also just to add 10.1 is green ash In affinage. Wouldn't advise that on prelightened hair.

If diluting with shampoo use 20 vol. 10,21 was always my favourite.
