Hi all
Im wondering why it is recently with some clients ive had who are new mothers and breastfeeding, i have been finding when lightening ends in foils with wella blondor and 5vol the hair is completely screwed!!
During consultation theres been no other chemical in their hair,
I have found...
If it makes you feel any better .... try mobile hairdressing here in Queensland Australia during our Summer [emoji33]
You can have 40+ degrees with 90% humidity carry your equipment into a house with no airconditioning and drip sweat from ear hole to a#* hole for 3 hours.
Then start blow drying...
You poor thing dealing with that!
And 11pm at night my god !
This is where i luv being mobile when you come across a dog like this you simply block all correspondence and they dont know where u live or work lol
Dont refund anything youve done an awesome job
Go self employed its the only way!
These salon owners want blood from employees these days
Take as many clients as you can set up your own gig and ul do well
Before you went on mat leave did you try introducing your regular clients to “this amazing hairdresser “ who will take care of you while im away, that would surely make them book in and feel comfortable while your away?

How aweful for you. She should be named and shamed to prevent other hairdressers going through the same ordeal.
I bet she was a real trash bag with box dye then a perm .

Dont worry nothing will come of it !
Affinage is great stuff
If your mobile make sure to get some of the .021 colours
Theyre amazing no need to fill the hair colour back in one step
Saves soo much time when mobile [emoji4]
Is your developer new? Had a dodgy 20vol recently same kind of issues you had
Tried a new bottle of 20vol different brand and it covered perfectly
Sometimes the suppliers and their “stock rotation” are a concern - well here in Australia the heat is a big issue with developers in a warehouse
Its a shame a creative industry has turned into a figures game
Buy an accounting business for ur husband
And let the qualified hairdressers do what they do
You will find it hard to keep good hairdressers
Just a bit of reality for you
The staff wont respect your husband as he wont understand the process behind the hair colouring and whats involved, in my experience business savvy non hairdressers have been eaten alive by staff who get “pushed” to perform and bring in dollars rather than someone who knows how long services...
I would have used
Roots 1/2 5.22 1/2 4.0 + 20 vol resistant mix 1:1
Process roots for half processing time
Then apply 5.22 with semi developer/converter for the ends for remaining time
Not sure why youd use 9% for a tint over coloured hair as colour wont lift colour?
As for the 6.34 i get that...
Drop your developer if its not a high % of grey you could possibly get away with like 8.0 8.1 type base colour 1:1 ratio
Using 10vol will expose less warmth than 20vol
But depends on % of grey [emoji106]
