Does anyone know where I can find the original branded Colorpops without stands? S2 and NSI used to sell them but nobody has just the pops anymore without the stands. I don't mind where in the world I have to buy them from.

Weird that. I’ve done 3 Harmony courses (including PolyGel) and I’ve never been told to only use their lamp.

I’ve never had any client complaints about heat spikes with PolyGel.

As far as I am aware, CND are the only company that insist it has to be their lamp - which was a big reason for many of us to steer clear of Shellac in the past, particularly because they were years behind other companies with LED. Other companies like Gelish and OPI tell you what wattage lamp...

So will this Shellac Luxe (which I notice is being advertised as "gel polish") still insist on CND lamps only? I currently use OPI and Gelish but would consider adding Shellac if I can use my current OPI lamps.

What insurance is that? Mine isn't anywhere near that descriptive.

How are you getting on with that lamp? Do you find the auto function (which is on most good lamps) works all the time? I sent mine back because it didn't work all the time.

I have the 18g Gelish lamp and an OPI Studio lamp, both of them cure either Gelish or OPI GelColor. Gelish base coat is supposed to cure for 5 seconds in an LED, 30 seconds for all other coats. Harmony and OPI have always said that their products will cure in other decent lamps.

I sent mine back, it drove me mad as it seemed to work on auto only when it wanted to. I've gone back to my OPI Studio Lamp which I prefer to my old black one. The new dual lamp looks good, but is quite large. I might order another one in the future on the assumption that I just had a faulty one.

I had mine on pre order from OPI UK, they arrived yesterday - already used three of them on clients today.

Yes, it's the latest one I'm having trouble with the LG dual lamp. I had the Studio lamp and the black one, both were fine.

Has anyone else bought the new OPI LED/UV lamp? I am having major problems with the sensor not always working. I'm just about to send the second one back. I am an experienced tech and I can't believe it's me or my clients doing something wrong - unless one of you know something I don't.

I think I have nearly every GelColor shade and I've never heard of that colour.

I use OPI GelColor and find it really easy to remove (best I've used so far). I do not break the surface first, I just wrap (you should all try it on yourselves, you'll wonder why you have been filing the top layer for so long - it's pointless). It comes off in one curled up piece after 10...

I've noticed gritty bits in a few of the colours. A rep is coming to see me on Friday and I think I'll put in a complaint and see if they will take the offending colours back. The main problem is with Two-Timing The Zones.
