Yes, I've only ever used with shampoo but Goldwell recommend shampoo & conditioner. I haven't tried yet but I'll be interested to see if what the difference is.

Did a Goldwell colour correction course last week & their recipe for bleach wash includes a couple of pumps of conditioner. Does anyone else use conditioner in their bleach wash? Just interested to know as I'd never heard of it before.

Yes, 3% & development time is just by eye. I tend to do it at the backwash because it can be as little as a few minutes.

I wouldn't be in a rush to 'practice' on anybody unless you can get insurance to cover you for treatments. Regardless of whether it's friends or family, you need to make sure you're practicing safely.

Thank you! She has long hair (past shoulder) but she had the cap because I needed to pass my assessment in college. It was a 'needs must' kind of thing! Do I colour the roots of where I've put the foils as well? Or will I get a banding?
