I usually find those wanting acrylic on toes just have it on big toes and its to extend the length due to them being short. As for overlays on toes I don't see the point in that !

You dont need excessive amounts of gel polsih to cap the free edge and certainly not so it looks bulbous. With the right amount of gel on the brush cover the nail plate and with the remaining gel just cap the free edge
