I'd either go and do the regrowth with lightener and 20 vol, then lightener with 10 vol over the band. Or depending on how large the band is bring the lightener for the regrowth down to the band and ever so slightly feather it off.
To take some of the toner out of the ends so they're not so drab why not lightener and water? Just next time you need to time make sure to check the ends and rinse it off there first.
Hmm, I've always done it with synthetic braiding hair. I've heard of wool sensitivities, so I don't think id try it personally. The wool doesn't felt into the hair when wet down?
ISO manetamer is a nice thio based straightener. Smells terrible but it does leave the hair in fairly good condition. It's a 2 step process (straightening and neutralizing ) and as long as you recommend a sulphate free aftercare regimen their hair is still nice and soft.
Alternatively you could use elumen in RR@all or another semi because it's been prelightened. Would probably help maintain the condition of your hair going the semi route.
Yes, that would help with the longevity of the color. Personally I'd go 6RR and RR mix 50/50. I've found reds to be most intense around level 6, and with you asking about RR mix on its own I can only imagine you'd like a fairly intense red.
I would say first of all go to nic testing's website. They're the national council of state board. From there you can find all the procedures for NYs boards. As far as getting into a salon, why not assist if you can't find work as a stylist? I'd imagine you wouldn't have a clientele there, so...
I don't know if they're available in the uk, but ISO perms are wonderful. Option 2 is for tinted hair and has a pre-wrap lotion with algae to help eliminate any lingering perm odor.
