Could someone that is a salon owner and VAT registered check my logic here...? Say my turnover is £80,000 Vat off that is £16,000 Leaving a total of £64,000 Less outgoings of £30,000 leaving £34,000 Less tax (is it 20%?) = £27,200 So my net profit / money in my pocket is...

Out of interest, how come the maternity pay doesn't cost you? Don't you as the employer have to pay something before the statutory kicks in?

A tint and reshape is a good treatment and much less for the client and also no additional training required for the experienced therapist. I was just shocked at the video in that HD brows really are just a basic tint and reshape - a bit of a shocker!! I thought it was something rather special!

lots of camera angles there which prevent you seeing the whole process. Typical of a pr video!

Just watched this on Pixiwoo (love them), it's the first time I've ever seen HD brows 'in action' and I'd be interested to know if this is an accurate example - I was thoroughly underwhelmed as it really doesn't seem different to the brow restyle (tint,wax, tweeze) that I already offer...

Do any of you stock BOTH St Tropez and Nouvatan? If so, which do you prefer for what? I.e. Is one better for clients who want it really dark and one better for really pale pasty ones who just want a golden glow? I find a lot of tans go orange on the really mega pale skins so I'm now debating...
