I had a client in for a full face thread yesterday afternoon. Everything was normal, slight erythema.
She's messaged me this morning to say she has a rash on her face. I've told her to apply a cool compress. She said she hasn't put make-up or creams on so I don't know what's caused the rash.
Thanks Airey Fairy :)
Matthew I contacted Eve Taylor at the start of the year and asked for some samples, they said they would pop them in the post but then never heard from them again. Shame as I've heard a lot of good things about them, but I'm unwilling to invest until I've actually tried...
I currently offer Thai Skin Therapy facials, but I've had a client request a really moisturising facial as her skin gets dry in winter and she's going to Prague for the week.
Has anyone got any ideas for an indulgent moisturising facial I could offer her?
Hi Jovi,
It sounds a lot like my business. I love it, they work really well together. I specialise in make-up but offer a few beauty treatments too. I could just do with a bigger studio, I'm always having to rearrange it depending on what I'm doing that day!
Here's my website if you'd like...
I started spray tanning a year ago and not one client has used the disposable knickers (I have 500 of the things! lol) my trainer called them 'one size fits none pants' lol
I had a nightmare appointment last night :( a new client asked if I did gelish, I said no but I do gelicure gel polish. She booked for gelicure, when she arrived she still had a previous nails on, they looked really thick so I asked if they were soak off gels and she said yes.
I started to...
Eyelure naturalites are nice for a natural effect, the bands flexible and the glue that comes with them isn't bad.
Or get some cluster lashes done, they're really pretty and natural - I use them on all my brides :)
Sorry I realise I didn't answer your question fully, they don't cover every protocol in your insurance documents, because products/training is different with different brands etc
I recently rang my insurance and asked about massaging pregnant clients and their answer was: - if your trainer says...
If your training said you need to patch test or the manufacturers instructions say you should patch test your insurance company will only cover you if you do.
Try applying oil with a disposable wand (or old wand if you don't have one) and leave it on over night. Should break the glue down and be easy to remove in the morning.
Everyone seems to taking before and after shots on Facebook of bridal make-up. One photographer even said only book a make-up artist if you can see before and after shots. The thing is I'd feel a bit rude asking for a 'before' shot. I'd wouldn't want a picture with no make-up on the internet...
I'm manic this month too, feel bad I can't fit everyone in, I'm working late nights and Sundays too. I think clients think I'm lying when I say I can't fit them in for a few weeks :( the rush is welcome but feel I'm killing myself too trying to please everyone.
I don't, I worry a certificate on the wall saying insured for 2m might make people start putting in false complaints to get money :O lol.
I'd be interested in everyone else's thoughts though?
