Right I'm now on my second UV lamp as my original lamp has been temperamental since I changed the bulbs on it.
So can I just ask how you remove the bulbs from the unit as each lamp doesn't tell you in the instructions how to do this.
Do I just pull the bulb out??
Do I have to release it in...
Ok got my video camera and tripod ready for action. Got the lighting ready. The only problem I have is getting the right angle to film. Just wondered if any of you hardened you tubers have any tips on how to get the right close ups and angles.
Many thanks. Xx
I haven't used CND. I use gel polish and get up to five weeks out if it. It's the removal that I find time consuming.
Realistically how long does a shellac treatment last on the nails. Xx
Just bought three Essie nail polishes!
Good colour pay off 😍
High shine, even with out top coat. 😄
Lovely colour choice 😎
Cute funky packaging. 😇
Absolute pain in the rectum to apply 😡
Right don't care if I sound a bit thick but in gonna ask this question anyway. I've just bought a daylight manicure lamp from salon services. It's lovely and bright but I've noticed my gels are a bit thicker than usual. Now does the daylight lamp emit any kind if UV rays or are they completely...
OMG used CT again for the first time in years. What an absolute miracle. Better coverage than anything semi I've used for ages. The most amazing shine ever and a great fragrance. I'm sold and converted. But I would like you CT users out there to tell me about CT plus and how to use it.
I've...
Does anyone rate this colour, I tried it in salon about a year ago and thought the grey coverage was pretty poor. But was impressed by its compact colour range.
I was just wondering if other people could offer some advice regarding this brand.
Ok! Old question for the new year.
If a nail gel can be cured via LED and UV, does that mean that it has 2 different kinds of photo initiators in them. Or does it mean that it's one kind of initiator that reacts to 2 different deliveries of UV.
Does anyone find there is difference in...
My client has been a little devil and picked off her gel polish instead of letting me remove it.
The nail layers are separating about 5 mm from the free edge.
I'm concerned that if I apply gel polish to the nails that it may chip off due to being attached to already flaking nails. Plus I do not...
Had a quick look at these colours and the hand book. A bit long winded and very cotradictive. Has any one used these and can explain in colourist terms how to use them and not salesman jargon.
What %/vol is needed for grey coverage.
What %/vol is needed for deposit only.
What is the mixing...
Hi all you gelish fans out there. Here's a quick question for you. Can you cure gelish in a normal UV lamp. And is the 18 g LED big enough to cure the whole hand.
Ok sounds like I'm stupid but did the nail art on some ones ring finger. Did it so that the free edge was the bottom of the picture and cuticle was the top. Then the client said it was upside down, which way do most people do their nail art. X
I've tried four of the colours now and I have to say that it's my favourite brand of nail polish. Better than OPI in my opinion.
The brush fits in your hand really well and feels really comfortable.
The polish goes on really well and not gloopy. It dries fairly quickly compared to other...
Ok! getting the image to transfer ok and making sure it's dry. But find the top coat smudging the image. I'm not applying any pressure. Is it because the top coat is solvent based and if I use a gel top coat will it still smudge. By the way I'm Applying it on top of gel polish after top coat and...
Ok I've been around a bit. I've done a fair bit of colour training and been on shows with different colour brands. I have recently bought a tube of haircut colour that contains Sodium Hydroxide. Now I know that sodium hydroxide is the main ingredient in hair relaxer and hair removal cream so why...
