    Fibromyalgia, any other sufferers?

Aww me too! I was really ill a few years ago, and it took me a long time ( approx 18 months ) to get diagnoses. The thyroid was the first, so the doctor just kept fobbing me off telling me all my other symptoms were down to that....I knew that wasn't the case. Finally after a long referral...

    Missed out PH Bond! Panic!

I'm sure a fair few of us have forgotten at some point to apply PH bond, I know I did when I first took on gelish, and like you worried like crazy! But everything was fine. As long as your prep was spot on and you did cleanse too I think you'll be okay, if your client does have a problem with...

    Gelish timings & prices

I book an hour for all new appointments, to allow for consultation too. There can often be a fair bit of work to do prepping for a first appointment as it may have been a long time since their last manicure ( if not their first time ever!) Then I adapt slots as I get to know that client, some...

    Gelish-most popular summer colours?

My most popular this season are all from the 'all about the glow' range. Brights have more fun I'm brighter than you Make you blink pink Followed by shake it till you samba, mint of spring, French with a shimmer ( usually izzie wizzi ) and passion. I have of course used others, but this is...

    Best masque acrylic

When I used to use NSI I mixed around a little with their masque colour and added some from the technails collection, I'm sorry I can't remember recipes though. I use nail harmony renew powder now for coverage, it matches most skin tones really well, I haven't had to tweak it for a client yet...

    Brisa Lite with Gelish?

Structure gel is perfect for sculpting a broken nail with. As Minkus says though we only recommend this for fairly short nails, this isn't a negative point, it is just that the product is what it is, it is a flexible ( yet incredibly tough ) soak off gel. For longer extensions then yes we...

L&P with Gelish Top It Off?

Top it off is fine to wear over your acrylics as it is very acetone resistant ( which is why we lightly break the seal before removing, just to speed up the process, in my experience it's not that GELISH will only remove if buffed first, it's just much quicker if you do) Top it off will peel...

Hi, Try unplugging the lamp and plugging it back in again from the back of the unit. It sounds like you have disabled the automatic sensor x

Tanning Geeks help please! LA Tan %'s

I too use the 10 and 12 the most too, I do have 2 ladies who like the disco tan, but I'm about to re-order and get the new fast tan. I gave up on the 8% I personally did find it had an orangey tinge and ended up washing it off early as I was panicking a little about the colour I was going...

    Changing gel?

Hi ladies, We only advise to dry brush your foundation layer once cured as this helps to prevent shrinkage of some colours, ( where the colour pulls back from the free edge or sidewalls before curing ) It is not really an essential part of the treatment where longevity is concerned, it just...

    Gelish Starburst problem?

Hi :0) I doesn't sound to me like this is a problem with your replacement bottle of starburst, on this occasion I think your client has just chipped her nail herself, There will be times when they chip, and times when they don't. And they could drive you mental trying to work out what YOU did...

    Gelish peeling?

Perhaps politely but firmly remind her that while nail coverings such as Gelish as really really durable and can withstand an awful lot, they are not indestructible and WILL break, peel or chip if put under too much pressure, and that you can't be held responsible for damage she creates to her...

    Gelish peeling?

I think by the sounds of it your client is most probably at fault here not you, She already broke and peeled off tips herself, so it is highly likely she has also damaged her Gelish herself too. If you are sure you have followed all the correct steps and carried out consultation to rule out...
