Mua's what strip lashes do you use?

Hey! Just wondering if there is such thing as a cheap strip Lash. I was planning to charge extra £5 for lashes on top of make up applications. But some of the decent lashes are £10+ a pair. Am I looking in the wrong places. How much extra do you charge for the lashes and where do you get them...

No wipe top coat that doesn't crack?

Thanks everyone I was referring to the chrome over enhancements and have since bought the new led glaze n go. My client hasn't contacted me to say there has been any cracking so I shall find out at her Infills. Wish me luck.

No wipe top coat that doesn't crack?

I'm struggling with my chrome... my application over NSI glaze n go is going on nicely but when I apply the glaze n go over the top it ends up cracking. I've tried Gelish top it off and it just seeps through the chrome and spoils the finish. What do you all use?

    Make up artist qualification

11 years ago I passed my BTEC in beauty which also covered make up as a module. My question is should I re train to be able to offer this to clients? Or will my insurance cover me as essentially I already have the qualification. I'm confident in make up so I don't want to pay for a course if...

    HD Brows

The way I looked at it was that..... no one (that I know of) who has had a genuine HD brows treatment, has said well it was only a tint & wax. I find people will say that who either haven't had the service or who we're toying with training with them. My existing brow clients are interested and...

    HD Brows

I'm doing the course on 17th I can't wait! I decided to go with HD because that's what clients ask for by name alone. I started doing my "own version" for a while but people who wanted HD never re booked because it's just not the same. So yes I am buying into a very well know and asked for brand! X

    "Show Tan" by Suntana

So I was browsing suntana and noticed this new show tan! Has anyone tried it? I haven't seen much advertising for it considering it must be new?

Still offer wax & tint if HD trained?

I agree with vickychicky I was also taught never to shape the top. (Even though after 10 years of waxing I do include the top) but I'm going to keep that for the HD treatments now so there is a clear difference between an eyebrow tidy and a high Definition service. Otherwise the lines are going...

HD (high definition brows) anyone trained this year?

Thank you ladies! I'm booked on the course in November in Leeds. Are you girls really busy with brows since the course? I can't wait! X

    Deposit for Xmas bookings

I personally don't because I'm sure at that time of year you'd be able to advertise a free slot and fill it with a tan or something. Keep posting the same thing in the weeks leading up to Xmas to remind customers to double check what they have booked as you have a waiting list. Then it gives the...

    Anyone using quickbooks, help?

I'm using the trial and it keeps reminding me to connect my bank. I'm with Barclays and have typed in my membership code as requested then it asks for pin code and password or enter null if logging in with pinsentry. But I can't get any further forward after entering the membership number?

Still offer wax & tint if HD trained?

Thank you! That's a good point I'll still offer my regular tint and wax. I seen a really good post on Instagram by a HD stylist stating the difference between her HD treatment and regular treatment. The regular wax didn't include waxing the top of the eyebrow. And obviously the price and time...

Still offer wax & tint if HD trained?

So I've booked the HD course for November. How many HD stylists still offer clients their regular wax & tint? I have a handful of regulars who I know won't pay the £25+ and it doesn't seem fair to say that's the only option. Do you use your old wax and tint for that so your not eating into your...

HD (high definition brows) anyone trained this year?

Thank you but I'm definitely going to go with HD as it is asked for and I don't want to offer a similar version. I already have a lot of interest based on the brand name alone. I'm just trying to find out what the latest kits include as I was going to buy the orb heater for paraffin wax pedis...

HD (high definition brows) anyone trained this year?

I'm looking into doing the training. Has anyone trained this year does the new kits have the orb instead of the wax heater? Is anyone really busy with brows since the training? Can anyone inbox me the current price? I have done a search but I would like a more recent response. Are people...

What's the latest 'must have' service?

Thanks I've trained in that too it's popular but mainly for my existing regulars. I was thinking about bringing back paraffin wax pedicures? X

What's the latest 'must have' service?

Hey! So I'm pretty much an all rounder. Offering all types of beauty services. Is there a latest must have service or something you guys are busier than usual with demand? I'm thinking to train in something new or offering a new brand. What's everyone asking you for? X
