Don't forget they might be feeling more nervous than you! They've invited a stranger into their home and will probably be worrying about where you are going to set up and if they've cleared away the mess in that room. Just be confident and friendly like you are with your shop clients.
I don't think these shows are purely for professionals anyway. Anyone can get into the Excel Beauty show and purchase the majority of products there. The only stand there that ever asked me for my customer number is sweetsquared. It doesn't surprise me that a lot of the 'professional' exhibitors...
Good quality files make a big difference. I bought some cheap 180 files off eBay and it definitely took longer to remove then when I use my branded files. If they're too flimsy they're not very effective.
Even if you did infill and then reapplied the colour it's not going to be much quicker than removal and reapplication - I would be charging the same price anyway!
What systems do you use? You could post on their Facebook pages (if allowed). I'm on a few including The creative beauty group for Gel II and quite often there are posts asking for staff or advertising rooms. Good luck!
The consistency is like jam - I was doing my own underarms and managed to do it with no drips or mess.
This was the purple hot wax that smells of lavender - I haven't tried the pearl one so can't compare.

As an alternative you could buy washing up bowls from the pound shop. They are cheap, come in funky colours and you can just dispose of after the party. Drop in some of those fizz bomb things and the children will be delighted.
I've tried a lot and have found the tweezerman pusher the best (with cuticle away). It removes the cuticle thoroughly without scratching the nail plate.
I use one of those sticky lint remover roller things. Great at getting polish and fluff off your stampers. You just rip off the used paper as you go. They're cheap as chips too.
