Hi, I am going to be booking an acrylic course but wondering if I will be able to do acrylics to start with without an efile, I am trained in gels and dont use files only normal hand files as my gels are soak off, I cant afford an efile course to start with so wondering if hand filing will be ok...

Hi as far as I know Gel Essentails is different to Essential nails. Reviews are good on fb ect but wondered if anyone had used them. Ive ordered a trial kit, bit expenesive but went for the whole kit rather than mixing brands. will see how I get on.

I did ask about ink london hard gel and gel essentials feed back was that gel essentials was easier to file using normal files not efiles as I dont have one of them and always been trained not to use one. But would like to speak with people who use it and how they get on with it. Works out...

Thank you I use calgel at the moment and have more gel polishes but would have to soak off or buff as much of the colour off as I can, I am looking at trying a hard gel so was not sure.

Hi just wondering if I put a gel polish over a hard gel when its time to have infils can I just soak the gel polish off then infil with hard gel and re do the gel polish. Not used hard gels before and trying to work out how to do infils if client has a gel colour over the extension etc.

Hi wondered what Gel Essential gels are like, they are hard gels I use a soak off gel at the moment but was thinking of trying them on myself for a while as the soak off gels dont seem to last on me due to work and I have problems soaking off due to eczema on my hands.

Thank you all for your replies, I am going to start out with Calgel which I am trained with and see how I go, if I get asked a lot for other treatments then I may look in to further training, but for now I will stick with what I chose because its designed for the natural nail.
