    Charge for processing fees?

I was thinking the same thing. The cheapest thing on my menu is £6 so it's not a big deal. I would be really annoyed if I was asked to pay more just to use a card. If they're happy, then they'll more than likely return and spend me.

    Charge for processing fees?

What verbage do you use in your business to say this? I mean, do you write, "a minimum of x must be spent in order to use credit cards" or what terms do you use? (I hope that made sense lol)

    Charge for processing fees?

Hey everyone. I have finally been able to start accepting credit cards but I have a question about the processing fees. Do you make your clients pay this charge or do you just take the hit? My fee is ridiculous but not sure if it's worth taking the hit for the fee in order to be able to have the...

    Price change

Oh that's a good idea. Very casual. My only concern is this one client in particular that has her hollywood wax with me. I think I'll just be casual with it and tell her to check out my website as I've added new treatments and updated my prices. Do you think it may be an idea and a kind of thank...

    Price change

Hey Geeks! I recently moved into a new place and have raised my prices. My question is how do I go about telling my clients about the prices? Should I honor the old prices for the loyal clients that followed me or just say that “since the move, I have changed my prices”? I don’t want to...

    Which Perron Rigot wax?

I agree, you do need to experiment a bit. I originally bought the euroblonde (which I'm in love with) and the Cristol Ocean. I couldn't get on with it either but switched to the Nacre Blanc and fell in love with that one. They all really are amazing waxes, just play around to find which is best...

    Floor protection from wax

Thanks for all the replys everyone. I love the IKEA one, I'm going to check that one out! I really don't spill either but as one post mentioned, as soon as you don't have any protection in place is when you're going to spill. Thanks again guys!! j

    Self employed accepting cards

Sorry to jump in on the thread but with these types of services, how do taxes work? Do they report your earnings or is it up to you to do it? Sorry, still getting familiar with these mobile apps that accept cards. thanks

    Floor protection from wax

I was just looking at something like that. A heavy duty vinyl roll up thing. I'm just concerned that it may look tacky and cheap.

    Floor protection from wax

Would you recommend I just use something like that each time I wax or is there anything I could use that's more permanent? I was thinking of those hard plastic mats that you sometimes see under computer desks (if you know what I'm talking about) but I want something that looks professional and...

    Floor protection from wax

Hey everyone, Does anybody have any suggestions about how to protect carpet in a salon from wax? The place I'm looking at has a carpeted area where I would set up my waxing. Any suggestions for a mat to put under the beauty couch or any suggestions in how others have dealt with this? Thanks J

    Looking for room to rent

Hey geeks! Does anyone know of any beauty rooms to rent? I’m looking for something in the Cambridge/Newmarket/Bury St Edmunds type of area but am willing to expand my area of interest for the right room. I offer corrective skin care, full body male and female waxing, lash extensions...

    Wax on clothes, help!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to getting wax off clothes. I accidently dropped a bit of Perron Rigot Cristol Ocean onto the bottom of a pair of work trousers and am not sure what to do. Does anyone have any tricks?? Thanks so much Jane

Exfoliation advice for clients after waxing

Thanks. I didn't realise they were that cheap. I had seen them with some good reviews for about £2.89 for a pair. But for 99p, I'll just recommend they buy one. Thanks for your help!
