    Direct toners (non developer)

Hello I have not been on here for a long time. Apologies if I’m repeating the same question. I’ve been watching lots of videos on intragram there are lots of videos of toning colour at the backwash. I use Loreal (richesse w light) and wondering what direct toners without developer, people are...

Can I use L'Oreal Diarichesse after a bleach bath as a permanent colour

Just need to treat the porosity and condition of the hair before colouring or use a lighter shade or half the development time. There is nothing wrong with the product it's how you use them.

Can I use L'Oreal Diarichesse after a bleach bath as a permanent colour

It grabs if the hair is porus it's fine to use richesse I use it all the time with great results. 8.3 is great for lowlights but I would not take it though to ends like I said I would leave them out as they will be more porus you can use 9.3 though mids and leave out ends. dia light is good too...

Can I use L'Oreal Diarichesse after a bleach bath as a permanent colour

I would use the Malibu c crystal treatment to help cleanse out the ash if it's just tone. I would then and do whole head of lowlights in foil with richesse 6.3 6vol roots drag and probably a lighter shade though mids 7.3 or 8.3 6vol and leave out the ends to give it a balayage feel.

    Wella help please

I would treat the white area different to the rest you can also change your mixture. The rest will be warmer so you can use a more neutralising colour if your lifting more around back.

    Wella help please

I'm Loreal trained. I have been taught to use 20vol for grey coverage. I'll duck out of this one.

    Schwarzkopf Colorworx

Just been trying out some pastel colours with this range. Has anyone used them or played around with some of there colours. They seem to be strong colours and I've used lots of white pastel and a dot of purple but seems to have a lot or red in it. I made up pastel rose gold on a swatch and left...

    Wella help please

If you want most coverage yes use your base shades and get maximum coverage. It all depends on your clients hair. You may get a translucent result or a more blended result or It may cover well? The level 8 rule is a guide but you can break the rules it depends on the the client and type of hair...

L'Oreal colour change blonde to brown

The warmth will get sucked up when you pre pig and it's a warm tone so just rinse it once you have achieved the right undertone red/orange. 6.3 will be too flat I would use the warmer tone or mix in some 6.3 if your worried. Just be visual and rinse once it hits that's tone and the undercoat you...

    Elumen thread

I have just started using elumen and I have been told to use the prepare on pre lightened hair. I'm finding when I'm applying to non prelightened hair previously coloured it does not always take first time or results are not as vibrant/shiny. Just wondering how often people use the prepare...

    Smart Bond

Yes I have used it and it's great, love it. It really looks after the condition. I used platinum plus and smartbond on the scalp the other day and I think because it's so conditioning you have to leave it on longer to achieve the result you want especially if your wanting a platinum result...

Covering 100% grey with L'oreal Majirel not working?

I personally dont take majirel though to lengths and ends unless virgin head or really short hair that is cut regularly because of the ammonia. Dia light or richesse all the way for take though. I find if the hair stays healthier so does the colour :-)

Covering 100% grey with L'oreal Majirel not working?

Majirel is great to get a blend of grey on resistant hair, it's not the best for 100% coverage. I like it for that reason as can give a soft blend like a semi would. If you want 100% you need to use there base shades or mainly base to target shade. Inoa gives you better grey coverage. It's more...

    Help with colour choice

The result is a warm golden tone so I would pre colour with dia light 8.3 till it goes a deep gold colour. Wash dry. Foil out a panel with dia light with a toner or use the pre colour result with clear would then go in with richesse 6.3, 7.3 or 7.31 depending of pre colour result and desired...
