Hope you don't mind but I'm going to attempt to copy these today.... although I'll use my husband's name
I have to say a big thank you as I've been totally lacking inspiration this week and your picture has got the creative juices flowing again.
the base coat makes the world of difference. On my first practise run on myself I painted it on like normal base coat (so dipping the brush between fingers) and when I came to soak it off I truly thought it would be welded there forever
Now I've learnt my lesson and I take the brush out...
Possibly the plainest nails I've ever had. Still sick so slapped them on in a rush so excuse the messy bits. I was picking like mad at my old nails though so needed them changed.
Dark Lava with Silver chrome carving.
thanks, I think I just needed to hear it was the right thing. It's definitely affecting my health and I need to think about that too.
I'm still going to do friends and family and the couple of regulars I have but I'm not going to advertise for more business or anything until I'm in a better...
I only started up in November (home based salon) and have very quickly realised that I have taken on too much too soon. I'm still having to work my other 2 jobs (80+ hours a week) as we have a lot of debts to be paid off which isn't leaving me any time to dedicate to the business. I literally...
Usually at least a week and up to 2 depending what it is (the bigger ones tends to fall off faster than the smaller crystals). Usually mine start falling off after a week or so because I starting picking at them (and because I never wear gloves when cleaning etc).
I do base cure, colour cure...
Scraping included? Who's been removing her Gelish!
You'd expect the Times to be a bit more reliable than that. Terrible 'review' all round. Intrigued by why they think nude is the best shade of Shellac too. Personal taste surely rather than a pro/con of a service.
I'd get the CND UV lamp. That way you have the option of also offering Shellac in future (which can only be cured with the CND lamp) or any other gel polish as the CND lamp cures them all (at least I think it does. It definitely cures Gelish).
The CND lamp works great for Gelish.
If you already have some Shellac colours I'd advise going for the Gelish shades that are totally different from the Shellac you already have. Then you can offer a wide range over both brands (this is what I do).
The Gelish Holiday collection is a set of...
I also don't use my proper topcoat on pops. I use a normal Rimmel top coat to save pennies. I do the colour wipe off the sticky and then pop on the rimmel top coat.
what do they mean by an urge to take it off? Like they want to pick at it? Can't say I ever feel a difference between Shellac and Gelish on my nails.
I do offer both though and they are both popular.
(I presume you are using the Foundation coat after the ph bond and it's just you missed...
I LOVE all your designs especially the pink with zebra! I'll be copying a few of your designs this week i think if you don't mind.
And that really long leopard and pink one is epic.
